How to issue an analytical report to a teacher

An analytical report is a document that allows a pedagogical worker to describe and summarize his experience for a certain period of time. Typically, this paper is made at the end of the school year and describes the activities of a teacher or educator for a given period. However, in some cases, for example, at a competition or during certification, this time interval may be increased (usually 3-5 years).

The teacher's analytical report should not only contain the results of professional activity, but also show their practical value, demonstrate the significance of the work. Of course, this document must first contain numbers. However, if the report is filled with numbers, graphs, tables, which are not commented at all, it will not be too convincing. The absence of a logical link between the main text and other elements of the document (diagrams, illustrations, etc.) can cause difficulties in its perception.

Another mistake that often occurs in those who make up an analytical report is a large number of arguments on various pedagogical topics, unfounded statements, superfluous terms. It is desirable that here contain the numbers, confirmed by real facts. And, of course, they should be as reliable as possible.

The analytic report of the educator should also be informative. Graphs and diagrams reflecting the results of children should be colorful and clearly show the effectiveness of the classes. Characterize the methods used and approaches are recommended in those cases when the teacher in their work complements or changes them.

There are no special requirements for the structure of the report. Therefore, the teacher has the right to choose the logic by which you can organize the text in such a way that the content is as accessible and effective as possible.

The main thing that should include an analytical report: title page, table of contents, main text, applications (if necessary). It is worth dwelling in more detail on these sections. In the beginning, information about the author of the document, his experience, the direction of his activity is indicated. Then follows the immediate content.

It is desirable to note both the knowledge and skills of students at the beginning of the year (if this criterion is an indicator of performance), and at the end of the reporting period.

An analytical report is a document that will help the teacher to effectively demonstrate their activities. The style of presentation should be simple and clear. It is desirable to use a minimum of special terms that a person working in another sphere may not understand. This documentation is drawn up so that if necessary, the teacher or tutor can show the results of his work. Properly designed paper will allow the teacher to present his activities in the most accessible form, even for the layman in this direction. The document will be required when attesting or checking the work of the teacher by higher authorities.
