It is much lighter in weight, cheaper, have a longer service life and a lot of universal components, which makes working with them convenient and simple.

In addition to pipes and adapters, one of the main elements of the pipeline is a sanitary tee, which is necessary for creating bends, bends or connecting additional plumbing devices.

Tees come in different shapes, differ in size and function. They are used both in internal structures and in the installation of external pipelines. For example, the sanitaryware plastic tee is used to drain sewage and is designed for a temperature regime of up to +90. It has resistance to alkalis and acids (though in small quantities).

How to install a tee fitting yourself?

Connecting parts of the plastic pipeline is very easy. If the tee has a rubber seal, then the tube is inserted tightly, just moisten the rubber with a soap solution. If not, then the outer part of the pipe and the inner part of the tee socket are greased with glue or sealant and join.

In case the pipe is longer than necessary, it is shortened, a part of the pipe can be cut off with a hacksaw with fine teeth, after which sandpaper or file on the cut to make a small chamfer to facilitate joining.

Tee PVC sanitary inspection has a special purpose - it has a cap on the side branch, which is removed when eliminating blockages.
