Pork ribs ... What can be more delicious? In my family they are preferred to any, even more expensive and "refined" sorts of meat. Ribs in an acute marinade, sweet honey sauce, ribs "for shish kebab" or stewed with potatoes ... What are the only recipes we do not use to make this affordable product. The answer to the question of how to roast ribs, usually depends on the set of ingredients that are at a particular point in the refrigerator.

If there is nothing but ribs and onions available, do the shish-kebab in the pan. How to cook ribs so that they taste like a shish kebab?

To start, the ribs are washed, divided into portions, we soak in the marinade. Its composition also depends on the mood, the availability of necessary products. I like marinating meat in vinegar with onions most of all. However, you can use dry wine, tomatoes, kefir, even beer. The main thing is to add more spices to the liquid so that the meat becomes fragrant, juicy.

After holding the ribs in the marinade for about two hours, we take them out, clean them from onions, fry them in a hot frying pan to a crust. Then turn over, wait again, until the crust appears. Spread the onions in the frying pan, left in the marinade, make a minimal fire, stew. To salt it is necessary already ready meat, differently it will let out juice on a frying pan, and itself remains dry.

Shish kebab is a delicious but familiar dish. And how to cook ribs to create an unexpected, unbeaten taste?

We usually treat guests with ribs in a honey dressing.

First we prepare marinade. To do this, mix 100 ml of dry wine (white), as much honey melted into a couple, add sweet soy sauce, red pepper (ground), paprika (also ground), garlic to taste. You can pour a little water, so that the sauce does not turn out sugary. In this composition, we soak the ribs. After an hour they can be fried, after drying with a towel. The frying pan should be hot, and the ribs should be fried until cooked. After that, they are transferred to a fryer or a thick-walled pan.

On the oil remaining from the frying, roast garlic until golden, pour the marinade from under the meat. Stirring, wait until it becomes thick. Pour the thickened sauce into ribs, salt, tush under the lid in the oven for a quarter of an hour. The royal dish turns out.

Sometimes we buy smoked ribs. They are fragrant, do not require a lot of time for processing, and the food from them turns out very tasty. How to cook ribs smoked? Our children just love to chew them. Yes, and we loved in childhood. And now we like smoked ribs stewed with potatoes the most.

To begin with, we cut them into portions, my. Although they are ready for use, it is not known how they were stored in the store. Portion pieces are fried, then in the same oil fry onions, carrots. Fold in a pot ribs, sliced large potatoes, pour a glass of water, begin to stew. After 20 minutes, spread the fried onions, carrots, add spices, salt, bring it under a tightly closed lid until ready.

Sometimes (very rarely) in moments of extreme fatigue, I ask myself the question: how to cook ribs to spare as much energy and time as possible? At these times I use the traditional village recipe, which I got from my grandmother.

I take a saucepan with thick walls, spread it with cabbage leaves. They will not let the meat burn. I put ribs on them, onion, finely chopped lard, pour half a glass of water, I send it to the oven. After an hour I take out, add potatoes, carrots, parsnips, spices, sliced tomatoes without skins, salt. If the liquid is small, I add half a glass or a glass. And again in the oven for an hour. It turns out a tender, spiritual dish, which was cooked almost without my participation. It is also useful for health, because nothing is fried in it, which means that no carcinogens are formed.
