Dishes with seafood are very popular lately. Unusual appearance, unique taste of these unique products, as well as a lot of useful properties are pushing the culinary specialists of the whole world to create new recipes. A special niche in this huge list is occupied by soups. Take, for example, a creamy soup with shrimp.

Seafood and dairy products

The inhabitants of the sea depths have often appeared on our tables. And not only on holidays. Of these, almost everything is prepared: snacks, salads, desserts, dough products and, of course, soups. The most common seafood that can be found on the shelves of our stores is shrimp. They are usually sold in the form of freshly frozen or boiled-frozen semi-finished products. Getting into the soup, these small crustaceans can change its taste beyond recognition. And if you add some dairy product (cream or cheese) as an additional component, then the indicator of taste and nutritional value of such a dish is much greater. It is quite easy to cook, for example, a creamy soup with shrimps. To do this, you need to have 400-500 grams of peeled shrimp, 300 grams of melted cheese, 3 potatoes, salt, 1 onion, pepper, 1 carrot, bay leaf and greens (parsley, dill and green onions). As a liquid component, 600 milliliters of chicken broth or plain water can be used.

Preparing the soup is amazingly simple:

  1. Pre-cut all the vegetables. This can be done arbitrarily (as you like). Greens should be crushed more thoroughly.
  2. Prepare broth or boil water.
  3. In the boiling broth (or water), slice the cheese. Stir with a spoon (or a whisk) to wait until they completely dissolve.
  4. Pour vegetables, salt, pepper into the pan, put the bay leaf and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat until potatoes are ready.
  5. Add the prawns and continue to cook until they have a gentle pink shade. This will take 3-4 minutes.

Now the ready soup can be safely poured into plates and sprinkled with greens.

Rainbow of taste

If you slightly change the composition of the original ingredients, the creamy soup with shrimps will become even more delicious. The set of products should be approximately as follows: 1 kg of royal prawns should be taken 400 grams of frozen corn, 4 potatoes, 1 onion, 2 liters of broth (chicken or fish), 20% cream, 2 garlic cloves, 1/3 tablespoon of starch, 10 grams of salt, ground black pepper, a bunch of fresh cilantro and a teaspoon of dried thyme.

And the creamy soup with shrimps is done like this:

  1. Shrimp for the beginning should be defrosted and freed from shell.
  2. Cut the vegetables into a saucepan with hot water and boil.
  3. Add salt, thyme, chopped garlic, corn, pepper and bring to a boil again.
  4. Pour the prawns into the boiling mixture.
  5. Starch diluted in cream and slowly pour the resulting mass into the soup.
  6. Then add the remaining ingredients and wait for the mass to boil "in the key". After that, the soup should stand for 10 minutes. And only then it can be safely served on the table.

Holiday of fragrant spices

You do not need a saucepan to make soup. With the same success it can be done in a frying pan. And if you add more vegetables and spices, it will only go to the soup for good. Seafood can be taken any, not just shrimp. Mussels, squid, scallops and, of course, fish are perfect here. If desired, you can use the "sea cocktail", which is a mixture of all of the above. A very interesting creamy soup can be obtained if the following products are present:

  • 450 grams of a mixture of seafood;
  • 4 tomatoes;
  • 3 onions;
  • A tablespoon of tomato paste;
  • 3 cloves garlic;
  • salt;
  • 70 g of vegetable oil;
  • A glass of cream;
  • Ground black pepper and a lot of greens.

Cooking soup should be as follows:

  1. In a deep frying pan heat the vegetable oil and fry in it onions, diced and crushed garlic.
  2. Put the frozen seafood on the pan, cover and leave to warm for 10-15 minutes.
  3. As soon as the liquid begins to slowly evaporate, you must add to the total mass of sliced tomatoes and other products by recipe. Allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes.
  4. At the very end of the cooking, pour the cream in a thin trickle, stirring constantly. Then wait a little and turn off the fire, without bringing the soup again to a boil.

Experts advise to sharpen a dish to eat it together with toasts, prepared from white bread or a loaf. On top of the crunchy product well sprinkle with grated parmesan and greens.

Gentle cream

Even easier is to make creamy soup with shrimps. In this case it is enough to leave only the main products and the result will be achieved. For such a soup you will need:

  • 200 grams of shrimp;
  • 300 grams of carrots and potatoes;
  • salt;
  • 200 grams of melted cream cheese;
  • Any greens to taste.

Cooking process :

  1. In a five-liter pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Throw in the vegetables cut into large cubes and cook after boiling for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the cheese to the boiling mixture, mix, and then cover with a lid, remove from the plate and leave for about 10 minutes.
  4. Pour the contents of the saucepan with a blender into a homogeneous mass.

After that, the soup can be poured on plates and served on the table, richly decorated with greens.

Original methods of preparation

Creamy soup-puree can be prepared not only from seafood. As an additional ingredient, mushrooms (champignons), chicken, fish, vegetables (pumpkin, broccoli) are perfect. Mixtures of components can also be used. For example, soup with fish and shrimp. Required:

  • 600 grams of fish fillets (cod, pikeperch or navaga);
  • 200 g of shrimp meat;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 liter of broth (fish);
  • 200 grams of butter butter;
  • 50 grams of flour;
  • salt;
  • A glass of fatty (33%) cream;
  • pepper.

Preparing the soup for 30-40 minutes:

  1. Products grind into cubes.
  2. In a frying pan in oil, fry the onions.
  3. Add the fish, shrimp and leave to stew for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Part of the seafood is set aside, and the rest of the frying pan is ground in a blender.
  5. Additionally, mash the mashed potatoes through a sieve.
  6. In the sauté pan lightly fry the flour in the oil.
  7. Add broth, stir and cook for 5 minutes from the boiling point, stirring constantly.
  8. Mix the mashed potatoes with the broth. Add salt, pepper, cream and bring to a boil again.

The result is a real Japanese soup.

Variety of species

Each national cuisine has its own creamy soup with shrimps. The recipe can be chosen depending on personal taste and available products. There is another rather original version, for which you only need:

  • 400 grams of large king prawns;
  • ½ lime;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • A glass of cream (11%);
  • 2 leeks onions;
  • 15 grams of flour;
  • Parmesan cheese.

Such soup belongs to the category of fast food dishes. It is necessary only:

  1. Shrimp cook for 2 minutes, then clean. Meat put aside.
  2. From the purification of shrimps with salt, lime, bay leaf and wine, boil broth. This will take no more than 30 minutes. Broth must be filtered.
  3. Separately boil the vegetables, and then grind them in a blender with half of the available shrimp meat.
  4. All products are put together. To the total mass add cream, flour and cheese.

The taste of this soup is impossible to compare with anything. Gentle, soft and very fragrant, it will please even the most sophisticated gourmet.
