Many people want to have a citrus plant, like a lemon. Moderately humid room only benefits plants, if it is not enough, you should think about the electric humidifier. This plant needs a regular transplant, approximately once or twice a year. It is better to do it in winter in February and in summer in June. And the next pot should be three to five centimeters more than the previous one. In the selected soil should adhere to equal parts of foliage, turf, humus and compost.

Lemon needs regular feeding. It is better to start from February to September. During the growth period, the plant needs more nutrients. The greatest positive result will be produced by ready mineral fertilizers, and liquid ones are much more effective than dry ones. But even if purchased plsednie, they must be diluted with water at the rate of one to two grams of fertilizer per liter of water. It is also useful to use ready-made infusions, alternating them with concentrates of organic fertilizers.

How to care for a lemon in the flowering period, you should know every fan of indoor plants. If the seedling blossoms immediately, in the first year, all the buds must be cut off. For obvious reasons, it will be difficult to do, but in the name of the future harvest, it is necessary to cross through pity. Lemon, if you leave him all the buds, will spend his energy on their rapid flowering and, in the end, die himself. Flowering can be allowed to him in the event that one ovary will account for not less than fifteen leaves.

If in summer the plant must be protected from burns, then in winter it is necessary to try not to allow its hypothermia. To do this, the pot must be wrapped with heat-insulating material or put on a foam.

Caring for a room lemon does not require much effort or special knowledge. It's enough just to love this plant and have a great desire to grow your own fruits.
