Then it needs to be filtered through several layers of fabric or gauze. Pour the liquid to the berry, mix and let stand for a couple of hours, you can also leave it for the night. It can be defined like this: with a teaspoon, scoop up a little of the contents of the pan, put it on a plate - if it spreads, the jam is not ready, if not - then it can be removed from the plate. After that, pack the workpiece over the jars and place it in a dark place until the winter.

Jam made with sea buckthorn: recipe with apples

A very tasty and extremely fragrant harvest will come if you combine berries and fruits in one recipe. Take:

  • 1 kilogram of sea-buckthorn;
  • 1 kilogram of sweet apples;
  • A half kilogram of granulated sugar.

Rinse the berries, go over if necessary and grind with a blender or meat grinder. Add to the sugar and mix well. Wash the apples, put them in a pot of water and cook for a quarter of an hour. After peeling the fruit, remove the seeds and cut into quarters, then also grind in a blender until mashed. Combine it with the sea-buckthorn, stir and place the pan on the fire - cook until boiling, and after it - for a couple of minutes. Done. Spread on cans and deposit for storage until winter cold.

How to boil sea buckthorn: another simple recipe

This time, we propose to make a harvest for the winter from pitted berries. You will need:

  • 1 kilogram of fresh sea-buckthorn;
  • One and a half kilograms of granulated sugar.

The berries are washed and sorted, put in a small saucepan. It should be put on a water bath and cook the sea-buckthorn until the moment it becomes very soft. After a while, cool the berry and rub it through a fine sieve or squeeze it through the cheesecloth. In the resulting gruel, pour out the specified amount of sugar, put on a fire and bring it to the ready. Jam from sea buckthorn seeds without pits will look like jelly (in a cooled form), but it will taste like fresh berries.   • Kilogram of sea-buckthorn;
  • 200 g of peeled walnuts;
  • 2 cups of plain water;
  • A half kilogram of granulated sugar.

Wash and dry the berries. You can peel the walnuts and chop them in a blender, but not in crumbs, you should have small pieces. If there is no blender, just chop it with a knife. Prepare sugar syrup from the specified amount of ingredients, allow it to pour out a little, and then put into the pan nuts. Cook them for 20 minutes, from time to time stirring, then remove from the plate and cool slightly. Now it's time for sea-buckthorn - put the berries in a saucepan, which again needs to be put on the fire, allow to boil, and then reduce the gas to a minimum and cook for half an hour.
