Helicopter "Ansat": specifications and photos

The Ansat helicopter is a light multi-purpose model intended for civil, specialized and military use. The domestic analog of the Eurocopter was developed by the Kazan Aviation Plant. The helicopter can have various variants of execution: from transportation of passengers and cargoes, to patrolling and rescue operations.

History of creation

The Ansat helicopter, whose characteristics are not inferior to analogues of foreign production, began to be designed for KAZ in 1996. A year later the first prototype was assembled, which rose in the air on August 17, 1999. Kazan Aviation Plant has relied on this model, focusing on its creation of the company's main resources.

Several years the work on its certification was conducted. In 2013 the International Aviation Committee introduced the model in the aviation register with the right to transport cargo. In 2014, an addition was issued that would allow the Ansat helicopter of Russia to be used for passenger transportation. In 2015, the new apparatus was tested by Medvedev. According to Dmitry Anatolyevich, he liked the car. Having given a novelty to the novelty, the head of the Russian government expressed his readiness to fly this helicopter in the future.

Description

The Ansat helicopter is produced at the facilities of the helicopter plant in Kazan, which is part of the united holding Helicopters of Russia. The twin-engine machine, built according to the classical single screw scheme with a steering screw, has several advantages over similar models. The aircraft received an all-metal casing, composite non-power elements and fiberglass blades.

The passenger version of the helicopter has the most spacious cabin in its class. And the salon can be quickly transformed. This possibility is important if necessary to quickly re-equip the helicopter for special tasks.

In addition to cargo / passenger transportation, Ansat can be used for observation, search and rescue, fire fighting. The latest version, which received an addition to the certificate in May 2015, is equipped with a sanitary cabin.

Helicopter "Ansat": technical characteristics

Initially, the helicopter was created with an electric remote control system (KSU-A), which made it the first device in the world with a similar system. Later it was decided to create a version with a traditional hydromechanical control system. As Vadim Ligay, General Director of KVZ, explained earlier, the reason was the toughening of requirements for certification of civilian vehicles with KSU-A. However, the replacement of the control system did not affect either the mass of the machine or its characteristics:

  • Overall length - 13.54 m.
  • Height with screws - 3,5 m.
  • The width is 2.6 m.
  • Crew - 1 or 2 pilots.
  • The payload is up to 7 (10) passengers, or 1.3 tons of cargo.

The light helicopter "Ansat" has an all-metal fuselage. Not power elements are made with the use of composite materials. Blades of screws are made of fiberglass. The main rotor hub is made by a hingeless scheme, which allows achieving a high level of controllability and saving on operating costs.

Engines

Initially the Ansat helicopter was equipped with a pair of PW207K turbofan engines manufactured by Pratt Whitney Canada. They are equipped with a dual-channel electronic-digital control system (FADEC). When an emergency shutdown of one of them, the helicopter is able to continue take-off.

The power of each of the engines on the takeoff mode reaches 630 liters. from. Cruising speed of the device reaches 250 km / h. The machine, equipped with basic tanks, is capable of flying at a distance of up to 510 km.

In the future, the Ansat helicopter will be transferred (in whole or in part) to power plants of domestic production. At the moment, the VK-800V engines are being tested by OAO Klimov. These motors will be the base for all types of light Russian aircraft. In the turboprop version it is also planned to be installed on drones, light-engine aircraft. At VK-800V, the technical documentation has been fully developed and approved, and a preliminary design has been created. The power unit is successfully tested.

Flight characteristics

Perspective helicopter "Ansat", a photo of which was published by many media outlets, has excellent maneuverability. Relatively small size allows the use of a helicopter in urban traffic.

The maximum speed with which Ansat can fly is 275 km / h (cruising at 250 km / h). The device is able to take on board up to 1 234 kg of cargo or up to seven (if necessary up to ten) passengers.

The machine is equipped with on-board equipment, flight control and navigation system, information system, multifunctional indicators and a warning system for failures. The helicopter can be operated both in manual and in automatic mode. Helikopter is able to fly in simple and difficult weather conditions.

Prospects

The Ansat helicopter, whose photo bewitches with visual ease and swiftness of design, opens a new milestone in the domestic aircraft industry. Russian designers have proved that they can produce maneuverable, economical, easy-to-maintain helicopters for civilian use.

In May 2015 the first commercial orders were placed on "Ansat". Three cars were reserved by the airline "Tulpar", two more sides were ordered by the airline "Vector". In order to establish direct contacts with helicopter operators in June 2015, the KVZ held an official presentation of Ansata, which was attended by more than 70 specialists from Russian airlines and special aviation. Within the framework of regional cooperation, KAZ in 2016 passed to the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan an apparatus equipped with an ultramodern medical module.

By 2017, the country's Air Force acquired about 40 units of Ansat-U, modified for use in the army. They are used for training pilots, demonstration flights, patrolling and other purposes.

A big contract was concluded with Chinese colleagues. In 2018, two "Ansatov" will be delivered, equipped with a medical module. By 2019, "Russian Helicopters" have committed to transfer 6 more civilian units. Of particular interest are modifications in the VIP-version for the transportation of important guests, company executives, high-ranking officials.
