Developing the interior of the hall, many make the same mistake: they try to surprise the guests, but at the same time they forget about comfort and practicality. For example, bright red wallpaper, of course, will impress friends, but it is unlikely that a long stay in such a room will be comfortable. So, how correctly and what wallpaper to choose for the audience?

Number of rolls

At the same time, their length is standard and equal to 10.5 m. How do you know the required number of rolls? To do this, calculate the area of the hall, reducing the obtained value by the area of the windows and doors. In most cases, the size of the interior doors is 0.8x2.0 m (then 1.6 m ² is subtracted from the total area). The standard window size is 1.6x1.75 m, therefore 2.8 m ² is deducted. In addition, the calculation process depends on the fit of the pattern on the wallpaper and the height of the ceilings.

Colour

At first glance, it may seem that the choice of wallpaper color is associated only with the taste of the owner of the apartment. In fact, you can experiment with color only in those cases, if the room has enough natural light. As for the darkened rooms, they are suitable only for light colors. If the windows of the hall go to the north, then you should experiment with orange wallpaper, which will make the room more sunny. And, conversely, if the windows face south, you can stay on blue, blue or green shades.

Drawing

The choice of the drawing depends on the features of the room and the desired result. So, striped wallpaper can visually increase the height of the room and well camouflage the seams. Border, on the contrary, will make the room below. A large drawing will look great on one of the walls, while the remaining walls should serve as a background. But such rapport can slightly reduce the room. Therefore, if the hall is small, it is better to trim it with wallpaper with a vague or small pattern. In addition, there is no need to glue wallpaper with a picture of the wall, covered with furniture. It is better to choose one-color for the hall from the same series.
