Flounder in the oven: recipe with sour cream

In order to deliciously bake flounder with sour cream, you will need:

  • Carcase of a flounder weighing about 1.5 kg;
  • 200 g of sour cream;
  • A few spoons of butter;
  • A little flour (about 50 g);
  • Pepper, salt, spices to taste.

How is the flounder cooking in the oven? Start by preparing the fish. Gut and clean it. Divide into portions. Rub them with salt, pepper a little. If you want, you can add seasoning. Take a refractory or a saucepan. Lubricate with oil. Lay out pieces of fish. Top with a little oil and lemon. Close the form with parchment, foil or lid. Flounder in the oven should stay about an hour. During this time, it periodically needs to be watered with the resulting juice, which will be collected at the bottom of the container. Now prepare the sauce for the fish. Fry the flour using butter. It should not blush. Pour gradually sour cream. Do not stop stirring the sauce. Put the right amount of salt, pepper. Put the mass in a water bath. The sauce should stay warm. Once the fish is baked, you need to remove the skin from it (you can not do this if you like roast skin). In a shape with pieces of fish pour the sauce. Flounder in the oven should stand for about 10 minutes.

Tip

If suddenly you bought a Black Sea flounder, which has a characteristic taste and odor of iodine, then before you cook, it is recommended to soak it in milk for half an hour. Other varieties of flounder - Mediterranean and Atlantic have a more pleasant taste. There is no need to soak them.

Flounder baked with tomatoes

To bake flounder with tomatoes, you will need:

  • One carcass of a flounder weighing about 1 kg;
  • A few ripe tomatoes;
  • lemon;
  • Pepper, salt;
  • greenery.

Technology of preparation

Clear the carcass of fish, you can cut it into portions, you can leave it entirely. Rub the flounder with salt, pepper, spices. Squeeze the lemon juice and pour it on the fish. Put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Prepare tomatoes - cut them into cubes. Chop the greens. Take the non-stick container, lightly oil it. Put the fish in it. Top with tomatoes. Flounder in the oven should be baked for half an hour. Then sprinkle with herbs and serve.

Flounder in the oven in foil with tomatoes, sour cream and cheese

This recipe will require the following ingredients:

  • Flounder weighing about 1 kg;
  • A piece (for 100-150 g) of cheese;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • Several spoons of sour cream;
  • Lemon (peel and juice);
  • Dill, salt, pepper.

Technology of preparation

Prepare the fish. Suck it with salt, sprinkle with pepper, pour lemon juice. Mix chopped dill with sour cream and zest. Each carcass (or a separate portioned piece, if the fish caught a large one) lay on a sheet of foil. Lubricate the sauce, top with a layer of tomatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and wrap the ends of the foil. Bake flounder need for half an hour.
