One-time intake of tablets is usually a quarter of a gram, with severe forms of diseases prescribed half a gram of medication. Use every four (six) hours. Tablets take an hour and a half before meals or after two hours after eating. The daily dose for an adult should not exceed four grams.

Babies up to three months of medication are given at the rate of 40 mg of the drug per day per kilogram of weight. For children under 18, the dose is calculated based on 50 mg per kilogram of body weight. Tablets are taken 4 times for 5 days - two weeks. With the disappearance of signs of the disease, the drug is taken two more days.

With local treatment, such negative manifestations as hyperemia, pruritus, irritation of the mucosa of the eye organs are possible. There may also be skin irritation and flaking, the appearance of fuzzy visual perception.

When using tablets, patients complain of vomiting, nausea, allergic manifestations. They may have epigastric pains, liver failures. In rare cases, cholestatic jaundice or anaphylactic shock occurs.

Contraindications include renal or hepatic insufficiency, hypersensitivity, the presence of jaundice in the history of the disease.
