Dyspepsia: what is it, and how to define it?

Unpleasant sensations in the upper part of the abdomen, sometimes giving up for the sternum, a feeling of bursting, flatulence, belching, nausea, burning, fasting loose stool, aversion to food and a sense of rapid satiety - all these symptoms referring to digestive disorders are called general dyspepsia ". That this is not a disease, but rather a syndrome, was established quite a long time ago. Do not be scared, let's try to figure it out. In case you have found yourself with any signs of dyspepsia, you should take care of the search for the root cause of the ailment. And by the way, do not wait until you feel all of the above. Enough and a couple of symptoms.

Types of dyspepsia

So, dyspepsia: what is this ailment and what are the causes of its occurrence? Physicians distinguish two groups:

1. The first - dyspepsia, caused by enzyme deficiency. What does it mean? And so, that some organs involved in digestion do not perform their function well enough, as a result of which the stomach and other digestive organs are unable to work properly, and accordingly, processes that are not very pleasant for our body are associated with poor-quality Digestion of food.

Which bodies can sabotage the overall process? It turns out that any: liver, gall bladder, pancreas, intestines, stomach itself and even several organs at once. Accordingly, dyspepsia can be hepatogenic, cholecystogenic, pancreatogenic, gastrogenic, enterogenic and mixed.

Obviously, in this case, the first thing to do is to find out the cause and determine the rebellious body (or bodies), and then begin to eradicate the underlying problem.

2. The second type of dyspepsia, which, by the way, occurs much more often, is alimentary dyspepsia. What does it mean? The man is completely light-minded about his diet, and recently made it particularly gross errors. Namely: unjustifiably actively leaned on any type of food, which in excessive amounts lead to an imbalance in the digestive system, that is, the occurrence of dyspepsia. It is customary to distinguish three subtypes. Dyspepsia is fermenting: when the bait touched carbohydrates (beans, cabbage, fruit, honey, sweet and flour), which in too much amount provoke fermentation in the intestines, forcing the person to experience the whole unpleasant spectrum of sensations named above. Dyspepsia putrefactive: here the culprits are proteins that require a long time for digestion (lamb, beef, pork, as well as sausages and other derived products). More precisely, not the proteins themselves, but their immoderate use. Fatty dyspepsia (it is also called soapy: it leads to an immoderate absorption of refractory fats, for example, lamb and pork).

You are what you eat

In case dyspepsia is of an alimentary character, the patient, of course, needs to stop using the dangerous product first and all products from different "risk groups" first. Even better - immediately put yourself on a diet (about how healthy food should be, it is now easy to learn). But we will remind that to exclude it is necessary all fat, sharp, fried, sweet, flour, etc., and whenever possible to prepare to itself food on pair, with a small amount of oil and spices. Keep the body on such a strict regime will need at least a few days.

You already know about such an unpleasant ailment as dyspepsia. What is it and how to deal with it, prompt experienced doctors. And self-medication is not worth it. After all, you can not be sure of the accuracy of your diagnosis, which means you risk postponing indefinitely the treatment of any other disease that you mistakenly call the term "dyspepsia". Prevention, of course, will not be superfluous, but in this case, however, it may not be enough, and your body, through new, brighter symptoms, will require serious treatment from you.
