Does anyone know what the universe is?

Many scientists express the opinion that the Universe, which we are now seeing at the very least, is just a piece of the unknown universe stretching out in the cosmic boundless and far-off space. One of the modern theories says that the universe has an end, but it has no boundaries. Paradox! This is explained by the fact that it, like a spiral, is twisted around itself. No one can leave this space, because the path will always be circular, and eventually lead to the original point. The well-known proverb "how much the string does not curl, and the end will be" does not work here. Figuratively, the universe can be imagined as a round-the-world journey around the globe: we travel through it without leaving it. What is the Universe, through the theory of "swirling space" can be described with the help of higher mathematics, but never, under any circumstances, it will not be possible to depict schematically on a piece of paper!

We are not alone

On the question of how many galaxies in the universe, no one will give you an exact answer. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of billions! It is known that our "neighbor" is the Galaxy called the Andromeda Nebula. It, as well as our Milky Way, consists of billions of stars, planets, clouds of gas. Both of them, together with other closest to them form a local group of Galaxies. Like hundreds of cities that make up a whole state, clusters of galaxies form an entire universe.

Since no one can give an exact answer to the question "what is the Universe", we operate with different versions, theories and knowledge of scientists. The latter claim that it has a structure in the form of cells like bee honeycombs, where the cells are superclusters of Galaxies.

Trying to find out what the Universe is, astronomers have discovered an interesting fact: almost all the galaxies in it move apart from each other. There is only one explanation for this today: the universe has the property of expanding. The theory was scientifically grounded, and a lot of astronomers agreed with it, believing that the beginning of the universe was a "big bang": the matter condensed to incredible limits, and as a result, expansion began. This led to the emergence of individual galaxies, the formation of solar systems, planets and, strictly speaking, life on these planets. The universe has expanded billions of years. There is an opinion that this extension will stop once and smoothly go into squeezing.

Changing the universe is a continuous process. It can not be otherwise. The heavenly bodies moving in the universe are constantly changing. The space around them also changes. All this is evolution. Astronomers still can not find the boundaries of the universe. True, with the help of powerful telescopes, they made a scientific breakthrough, "getting" to its vast expanses, to reach which the light will be able only for 10 billion years!

Probably, it is not necessary to explain that the age of the universe and its dimensions will in no way be compared with the age and size of our planet. We all understand that the Earth is just one speck of hundreds of thousands of billions of others, "hanging" in the universal expanses! Today, the attention of all scientists in the world is focused on the study of the universe. It is known that any mystery will someday become a reality. Perhaps we will not live to see this sensation, but we sincerely believe and hope that someday the final answer will be given to the question "what is the Universe".
