Amanita: smelly: appearance, danger and distinctive features

Amanita is one of the most dangerous fungi growing on the territory of the Russian Federation. After eating it, a person will receive a lethal dose of toxins, which will lead to sad consequences. To avoid this, the mushroom picker should clearly understand what his enemy looks like and how not to confuse him with other, edible mushrooms.

Amanita smelly: description

In common parlance this fungus is better known as the white toadstool. This fly agaric grows practically throughout the entire territory of the Russian Federation. Preference is given to marshy areas, with thick deciduous forests. But it can also occur on sandstones, among evergreen pine and fir trees.

With sufficient moisture and warmth begins to germinate from the ground in late spring or early summer. Worst of all, that externally the mushroom is similar to many representatives of the family of champignons. Because of this, there is a great risk that an inexperienced mushroom picker will take it instead of an edible kind.

Appearance

In truth, the smelly mushroom strongly stands out against the background of the rest of the inhabitants of the mushroom kingdom. Therefore, if you know the peculiarities of the structure, it will be impossible to confuse it with edible relatives. So, first of all, he has a pale shade of the body, for which, properly speaking, he was nicknamed the "white toadstool". A similar color implicitly hints that the pulp of fly agaric is thoroughly impregnated with heavy metals and toxins.

Amanita has a hat of the right form. At the initial stages, it is wrapped down, but as the fungus becomes sexually mature, it is equalized. In this case, the average diameter of the cap in adults reaches 10-12 cm. From the bottom, the fly agaric is covered with a dense row of white plates. It is in them that the fungus spores are contained, which later become seeds for a new generation.

The very same hat is held on a high thin stalk. It is noteworthy that on it there is a small white "skirt". It can be located both in the middle and on the top of the leg, which immediately catches your eye.

A special "juice" of the white grebe

Many mushroom pickers are familiar with one feature, on which it is easy to distinguish a fly agaric smelly. A poisonous mushroom always distinguishes a special secret, gradually accumulating on the surface of its cap. You can see it almost always, except for the hottest periods, when the grebe loses most of the moisture from its body.

In the rest of the time, this "juice" well emerges on its surface. At the same time, it releases a fetid odor that is needed to attract insects. For a man, such a fragrance should become a signal of anxiety, able to save him from an ill-considered decision.

Poisoning with white grebe: symptoms

The first signs of poisoning with fly agaric are manifested after half an hour after their use. It all starts with a strong sweat, which hails over the face. The reason for this is a sharp rise in temperature, right up to the heat.

After 30-40 minutes, the stomach is affected by severe pains, as if something were sharp in its walls. After this, there are bouts of vomiting that can not be stopped. If at this stage a person does not provide medical assistance, then all over the body will begin to show muscle cramps. In the absence of treatment, the final poisoning will become a deep coma, after which all organs will fail. In most cases, a person dies before he can get out of it.

Worst of all, that sometimes the action of toxins on the body can occur in a latent form. That is, they will continuously eat away liver cells and kidneys, but the person at this time feels only mild ailment and nausea. In this case, the patient most often gets to the hospital already when the only solution is a transplant of donor organs.

How to help with poisoning?

The best solution is to call an ambulance or deliver the patient to the nearest hospital. There he will conduct the following procedures:

  • First of all, the stomach is washed to remove it from the remains of fungi.
  • Then put a dropper with a drug that removes toxins from the body.
  • And in conclusion, the patient is credited with a course of vitamins that can quickly put him on his feet.

Precautionary measures

First of all, you need to do everything possible, so that the bag is not smelly. Photos of this fungus should be shown to children, as they can inadvertently begin to play with it. It should be understood that even a simple contact with a white toadstool leaves lethal toxins on their hands. Not to mention the fact that mushroom spores easily rise into the air, thereby presenting a real threat to the human respiratory system.
