Delicious and healthy salads with Pekinese cabbage and corn

Do you want to cook something tasty and useful for your family? We offer you salads with Peking cabbage and corn. They are made very quickly and consist of simple ingredients. Choose any recipe and cook for health!

Option number 1. With crab sticks

Peking cabbage, corn, crab sticks are the main ingredients of the salad. Other products can be changed at your discretion. But to get good results, it is better to cook strictly according to the prescription.

Ingredients :

  • 200 g of sweet corn;
  • A bunch of parsley;
  • 200 g of crab sticks;
  • One fork of Peking cabbage (about 1 kg);
  • 250-350 g of mayonnaise (low fat content);
  • 200 g of processed cheese.

Cooking process :

  1. First you need to process the Peking cabbage. This process consists in removing litter and spoiled leaves. Fork is washed with tap water. Then dry and cut into thin straws. We add a pinch of salt. Cabbage should be slightly wrinkled.
  2. Take the crab sticks, remove the film from them and cut them in circles.
  3. Now we need to grate the melted cheese on a large grater.
  4. Open the jar with corn and drain the liquid.
  5. All the ingredients are laid out in a salad bowl, salted, dressed with mayonnaise and mixed thoroughly. On top decorate with chopped parsley.

Option number 2. With ham

With this recipe you can prepare a tender and light salad. Peking cabbage, ham, corn - these ingredients are its basis.

Full list of products :

  • 400 g of Peking cabbage;
  • 150 g of canned corn ;
  • 9 quail eggs;
  • 150 g of ham;
  • 100 g of hard cheese;
  • Light mayonnaise.

Practical part :

  1. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage. The plug must be washed in running water and allowed to dry. Then finely chop the Pekinese cabbage.
  2. We begin to cut the ham. It is desirable that thin strips are obtained.
  3. We cook quail eggs (9 pieces) hard-boiled. This will take about 5 minutes. Then put the eggs in a deep cup with cold water and wait until they cool. We remove the shell. Each egg is cut into 4 parts.
  4. Open the jar with corn and completely remove the liquid.
  5. In the salad bowl we spread all the ingredients, water them with mayonnaise and salt. On top of the dish sprinkle with grated cheese.

Option number 3. With chicken

Light and spicy salad. Peking cabbage, corn, chicken in combination with soy sauce give incredible gustatory sensations.

Ingredients (based on 2 servings) :

  • 150 g of boiled chicken;
  • One Bulgarian (red) pepper;
  • 3 sheets of Peking cabbage;
  • 2 tbsp. L. Canned corn;
  • A bunch of dill;
  • One medium cucumber.

For refueling :

  • 1 tbsp. L. olive oil;
  • 2 tbsp. L. Soy sauce;
  • Juice obtained from half a lemon.

Preparation :

  1. We cut cabbage with thin ribbons, chicken meat - cubes, and cucumber and pepper - half rings.
  2. In the bowl, pour soy sauce, olive oil and lemon juice. All this is mixed.
  3. Spread the cabbage in a salad bowl, add pepper, cucumber and chopped dill.
  4. Top with chunks of chicken and corn. We make refueling. It only takes a couple of minutes.
  5. It remains to pour the salad dressing, salt and thoroughly mix everything. You can serve the dish to the table.

Option number 4. With tuna

Previous salads with Pekinese cabbage and corn suggested the use of cheese and meat products (chicken, ham). We offer another version of the salad - with tuna.

Required products :

  • 100 g of Peking cabbage;
  • 1 can of canned tuna ;
  • One medium bulb;
  • Olive oil (enough for 1 tbsp);
  • 150 g of canned corn;
  • Lemon juice (1 tbsp.);
  • Shredded herbs.

How to cook :

  1. We open a jar of tuna and put the contents in a deep plate. The fish should be kneaded thoroughly with a fork.
  2. We proceed to cutting the onion. As a result, we should get a quarter of the rings. If the onion was too bitter, then you can beat it with boiling water.
  3. Now you have to chop the Peking cabbage.
  4. We take a wide glass. In it we will spread out the ingredients in the following order: tuna, cabbage, onions and corn.
  5. We make a dressing using oil (a couple of teaspoons), black pepper and lemon juice. We pour a salad on it. On top decorate chopped herbs (parsley, cilantro or dill). Our delicious and healthy salad is ready. Bon Appetit!

How to serve salads with Pekinese cabbage and corn

Prepare a dish - only half the case. It is still necessary to serve it correctly to the table. Put the salad in a special bowl - a salad bowl. Then you can start decorating. For example, sprinkle with grated cheese or chopped greens. Some people like to consume fresh salad, that is, immediately after its preparation. But even if he stays a little in the refrigerator, nothing terrible will happen. The fact is that the Peking cabbage, which is one of the main components of such a salad, does not release juice and does not spread. If you are going to serve a dish only the next day, it is better not to add mayonnaise to it in advance and do not water the dressing, but do it immediately before consumption.
