The fact is that the emperor issued two manifestos on the law and order in the state, on the basis of which amendments were made to the basic laws of the state of the Russian Empire, which gave them a constitutional form. In general, during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, 6 constitutions were adopted in Russia! Since that time our country has officially commemorated one of its state festive events - the Constitution Day of Russia, that is, the pledge of democracy in our country. It is a document of direct impact on all spheres of our life; Ideally, everyone should know it in perfection, in order to be not only civilized, but also in order to improve the quality of their own lives.

The most important volume of the constitution in our country is the one on which the elected president of Russia puts his hand during the swearing of the oath at the inauguration ceremony. He is kept in the main (presidential) library of the country - in the Kremlin. This is a book of red leather with a very thin binding, with an embossed gold inscription "The Constitution of the Russian Federation" and an overhead silver coat of arms. Every self-respecting citizen of the country must have his own copy of this document!

There was a time when the Constitution Day of Russia, celebrated on December 12, was considered a holiday day off, but 9 years ago the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted some amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, in connection with which this day was still a holiday, but not a weekend.

Today, the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation is held in the format adopted by most other countries, where, by the way, it is also not a day off!

Our compatriots living abroad do not forget about their homeland, they also celebrate the Constitution Day of Russia. Particularly devoted patriots conduct various actions, among which - the distribution of ribbons with the colors of the flag of Russia, as well as information programs about this holiday.
