Dutch midfielder Demi de Zeev

Demi de Zeuv is a former Dutch footballer who played for different clubs both in his home country and abroad. This year, he turned 33, but he completed his career in the summer of 2015. Demi de Zeuv played in the position of the central midfielder and was a universal of the center of the field - he could win back both the opornika with defensive functions, and the attacking midfielder with the focus on the gate of others.

Carier start

Demi de Zeuv was born on May 26, 1983 in Holland and at the age of six he joined the football school of the local club Apeldoorn. There he spent quite a long time, but at the age of 12 moved to a larger and more serious club - AGOVV. It was there that this player was brought up, however he did not conclude a professional contract with the team. The fact that when he was supposed to turn eighteen, the midfielder was keenly interested in another Dutch club - "Go Ahead Eagles", where he moved to in 2001. Demi de Zeuv signed a professional contract with the "eagles" and began his performances at a high level.

The heyday of the Go Ahead Eagles

Defensive midfielder in those days was considered as a great talent, so in the new club, he expected to develop at an impressive pace. However, the age and lack of practice affected the situation, and in the first season, Demi came on the field only three times. During the next two seasons, the situation was a bit fine, but de Zeuv was still a reserve player. He went on the field thirty more times, scoring four goals - and only in 2004 he managed to become a player of the base. Having played 38 matches and scored four more goals, the footballer attracted the attention of other clubs, including one of the strongest clubs in the country "AZ".

Transfer to AZ

In 2005, for only one hundred thousand euros, De Zeuv moved to AZ, where he immediately became one of the key players. He very quickly progressed and in four years scored an amazing form. For "AZ" Demi Patrick Rene de Zeuv played 157 matches, which was a record in his career - for no other club, he did not perform so often. But in the summer of 2009 for eight million euros he was sold to the strongest club of the country "Ajax".

Playing for Ajax

In "Ajax" De Zeuv spent only two years - he was constantly getting a game practice, but not very impressive leadership of the club. In 95 matches he scored 16 goals and became the Dutch champion for the second time - for the first time he already won the tournament in the "AZ" in 2009, just before leaving for the new club. However, with "Ajax" he also won the Dutch Cup, but all this did not prevent the fact that in the summer of 2011 he moved over six million euros to Moscow's "Spartak".

Period in Spartacus and rent

In "Spartacus" de Zeuv spent only one and a half season, as the club obviously expected from the Dutchman more. After playing 33 matches and scoring three goals, Demi went on loan to the Belgian "Anderlecht", where he scored three goals in 26 matches. When he returned to Spartak, the contract was not extended, and de Zeuv remained unemployed until, in February 2015, the Dutch Breda offered him a short-term contract. For the new club de Zeuv played 12 matches, scored two goals, and then in the summer of 2015 announced the completion of his career.
