Cones on the wrist. Is this normal or not?

Some people are treated for a lifetime of chronic diseases, others themselves invent and drive mad doctors who can not find the cause of the "ailment" of their patients. And there are those who are absolutely healthy! True, we have very few of these. And the reason for this is not only ecology, food and nutrition, etc. Life is very unpredictable, and trauma can be obtained even at home, sitting on a chair. For example, the chair has dried up, the person has fallen, having substituted an arm or a hand and has earned a dislocation. This is enough to get bumps on the wrist.

If the daily work of a person is associated with the transfer of heavy weights or any other heavy physical work, then he is also at risk. Professional and novice athletes are no exception. Most often, bumps on the wrist appear in beginners who neglect protective bandages and bandages. But not infrequently it happens that a person does not remember at all the trauma, which he received, for example, in his childhood, and in a few years the same bumps appear on his wrist.

Many people do not even notice at once that a hump appeared on the joint. It is discovered by chance, and with complete bewilderment, they begin to look at the hands of their relatives to understand: this is for everyone, either or only me ?! In fact, bumps on the wrist - this is a fairly common problem, which has been known for a long time. She usually does not cause harm or inconvenience, true, and does not add an aesthetic look to her hand. A few decades ago, all surgeons agreed that this growth on the wrist should be simply crushed and rewound for a while. Some folk healers advised to tie a copper coin to a problem place or to collect complex medicinal ointments, decoctions, to make uneasy ceremonies ... But all this often helped only for a while.

In order to learn how to treat a built-up edge on your wrist, you need to find out what it is and where it originated from. This problem is nothing but a tumor formation called "hygroma". It is education, not a tumor. From the name it can be understood that inside this "bone" there is liquid on the wrist. But how did she get there ?! In case of trauma, the integrity of the membrane retaining the interarticulate fluid disrupted, it overflowed beyond the joint and overgrown with a capsule. The more you use this hand, and especially if you continue to give a big load on it, the bump on the wrist hardens and grows. This is due to a constant inflow of new fluid. That's why, when some notice a tumor, they think it's a bone on the wrist. Several outgrowths can form in the same place.

On the advice of many, and even doctors, you can crush this problem swelling. But remember the law of physics: "Nothing out of nowhere appears and nowhere disappears without a trace, but only passes from one state to another"? So, in our case - goes from one place to another. But where? Back to the joint? Its too much for one joint. This liquid remains about the same way, it does not return to the joint, it only spreads under the skin. Remember that the build-up on the wrist is formed on the tendon, and it is on it that the capsule is held. When it is crushed, the sheath itself remains and in time can again fill with articular fluid (same or new). But the fact that the shell does not return, it can become inflamed. And then certainly a serious operation can not be avoided.

What and how are hygromas treated? If they do not interfere with the full movement of the hand and the aesthetic appearance of the wrist is not principled for you, then you can do nothing with a build-up and just forget about it, and put the hard work from that hand onto the second one. If the hygroma hurts, pulls, interferes with the movement of the wrist, is very large, grows rapidly, then it must be disposed of surgically. The most important thing in this case is to remove the capsule completely. This is the only way to get more than 50% chance that the problem will not return. True, the scar remains in any case. With a laser operation, it will be minimal.

We wish you health and beauty!
