In recent years, the Russian language is actively replenished with new words. And most of these words are complex. They are so called not only because people have difficulties in writing them, but because they consist of several roots.

Complex words in the language are very convenient, because they allow more accurate and concise to name the object or phenomenon, for example: "round the clock", "pale-faced", "car repair". Why are these words so complicated in spelling?

Most often, complex words of the Russian language are formed by merging two words into a phrase. The difficulty in this case is the inability to distinguish the word combination and the compound word formed from it, for example, "strong" and "strong". They need to be distinguished not only in meaning, but also in intonation: the compound word does not have an accent on the first word. In addition, in a word-combination words can be interchanged and moved to another place in the sentence. Sometimes the complex words formed by the addition of several bases are shortened and called complicated. These are usually written in capital letters, for example: "MSU", "KVN".
