For its preparation, we need about 1 kg of fruit, 3 liters of pure water and 1 glass of sugar with a slide. In fact, quince is extremely capricious about caring for it and meteorological conditions. Therefore, it will be much better if you ripen the fruit immediately before preparing compote. In addition, they have a felt coating, so you will not only need to wash the quince under running water, but also rub it with a stiff brush. So, to prepare the compote from quince, without losing all its usefulness, cut each fruit into 4 parts and take out the seed box. We remind you that the peel should not be cut off, since it is the main source of vitamins in the product. Now prepare the jars: they need to be washed and sterilized in the usual way for a couple and placed for drying. And then prepare the syrup: dissolve the sugar in the water and put it to boil. You can prepare the compote from quince without sterilization, but then the shelf life will be significantly reduced, and you will also have to keep it in the refrigerator, which is extremely inconvenient.

Last preparations

So, we're almost done cooking quince from quince. The recipe for it though is simple, but it takes a long time to implement it. And now it remains only to put a slice of quince fruit in clean cans about 1/5 of its depth and pour it all over with hot syrup. They should be rolled immediately, and then, as usual, turn upside down and cover with something warm until completely cooled. But the most delicious combination with apples or grapes, because they have a quince-sweet taste similar to a quince. It is also possible to combine it with pears, melons, oranges, lemon or various berries - cranberries, gooseberries, black currants.
