Tea with cinnamon - the best start to the day!

About the benefits of cinnamon, almost every housewife knows. This brown spice consists of three main components - cinnamon alcohol, cinnamyl acetate and cinnamaldehyde. All these components have a positive effect on human health. For example, cinnamaldehyde does not allow the formation of blood clots in our body, and the rest of its components can normalize blood sugar levels.

According to some studies, only half a teaspoon of cinnamon per day can significantly reduce the sugar level in our blood, increase the activity of insulin and helps to accelerate the absorption and use of glucose by the cells of the body. But tea with cinnamon can be a great start to the day, not only for that reason. The aroma of this "magical" oriental spice can accelerate the work of the brain, increase concentration of attention and develop visual memory.

Tea with cinnamon, the recipe of which is known to many fans of this drink - the thing in cooking is quite simple and does not require much time. This drink is prepared in five to ten minutes. For its preparation it is enough to take your favorite sort of tea, fill it with a stick of cinnamon in cold water and bring to a boil. But there are many ways to turn ordinary tea with cinnamon into a real work of culinary art and create your own unique masterpiece.

For example, you can cook a delicious green tea with cinnamon. To do this, take two teaspoons of your favorite green tea, one cinnamon stick, five or six pieces of cardamom boxes, two asterisks of a clove of half a glass of milk and two or two and a half glasses of water, and a little sugar to taste. Tea, sugar and spices are placed in cold water and brought to a boil. Then, as much as possible, reduce the heat and boil our tea with cinnamon for another five minutes, not forgetting to stir it from time to time. After this, pour the milk into the broth and keep on the fire for another five minutes. When the liquid warms up again, remove it from the plate and filter it. Now the delicious tea is left to pour into cups and serve to the table.

Original, useful and very tasty is obtained and ginger tea with cinnamon. To make it, take a liter of water, put in it ten centimeters of the previously cleaned ginger root and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Then add a stick of cinnamon to this broth and insist for half an hour. Two tablespoons of green tea is poured into a filtered and boiled decoction and let it sit for a while. To this tea you can add a spoon of honey - this will make it more invigorating and at the same time soothing. You can serve this drink both hot and cold. The ideal solution is to add a few drops of lemon juice to cold ginger tea.

It should be remembered that ginger tea with cinnamon is not only useful for the circulatory and cardiovascular system, but it is also an excellent remedy for colds or flu, and also has an excellent warming effect.

Do not forget that cinnamon is of several kinds and they can differ quite a lot. For example, the most famous and expensive Ceylon cinnamon has become widespread due to the ideal taste qualities, and from other varieties of this spice it is distinguished by a sweet and slightly burning taste. Chinese cinnamon is quite similar to Ceylon, but its fragrance does not have that tenderness - the Chinese spice is sharper and tart. Malabar cinnamon differs from the varieties described above not only with a bitter taste, but also with appearance.

Ceylon cinnamon is ideal for making tea.
