Colitis of the intestine. Symptoms that determine its development

The inflammatory process inside the large intestine or in some of its parts is the colitis. With the passage of time and with complete absence of appropriate treatment on the mucosa, ulcers and even hemorrhages may form, forming ulcerative colitis of the intestine. There is acute and chronic colitis of the intestine. Symptoms in acute illness are bright short-term pains in the lower abdomen, a fever that sometimes reaches thirty-nine degrees, diarrhea and swelling. For one or two weeks, you can cure acute colitis of the intestine.

Symptoms of chronic colitis result from a neglected acute type of disease and are characterized by periodic constipation and diarrhea, frequent eructations, nausea and vomiting. The person becomes irritable and quickly tired, he is disturbed by frequent fading and exacerbation of the disease, headache and sleep disturbances, constant swelling in the abdomen and loss of appetite. Often, due to abuse of laxatives, due to parasitic infestations, in the disorder of intestinal nervous regulation and the disturbed diet, colitis of the intestine may occur. Symptoms are always accompanied by aching pain in the lower abdomen and unpleasant nausea. At the first signs of the disease, it is necessary to begin appropriate treatment. The right diet, compliance with all hygiene standards, strict regime, rest and sleep, water procedures, exercise, oral care and persistent treatment will help to get rid of such an unpleasant disease as colitis of the intestine.

Treatment with folk remedies is quite effective and involves the use of various herbal dues and diet. In most cases this is quite enough and no additional medication or surgery will be needed. Sometimes the fees can be combined with the use of other medications, but then it is necessary to consult the attending physician. It should be said that in neglected cases, such as ulcerative colitis of the intestine, treatment can be quite long, and sometimes last a year or more.

Infusion of berries and raspberry leaves is good if there is underdeveloped intestinal colitis, the symptoms of which are dull. On more serious stages, decoctions are used from the collection of herbs, such as chamomile, sage, centaury, mint, St. John's wort, cumin fruit, stinging nettle, standing stone, kalgan, flaxseed, comfrey and gray alder. These herbs are included in the recipes of the widely known Vanga, which recommended them as the best remedy in the fight against such a disease as colitis of the intestine. Treatment with folk remedies includes the use of watermelon, pomegranate broth and onion juice. These drugs have excellent anti-inflammatory and healing effect.

With this disease, you must adhere to a strict diet, and if it is in acute form, it is recommended to complete fasting in the first two days. Obligatory eating meals, five or six times a day, in small portions. Food should always be warm. To the stomach is also applied a warm water bottle, to facilitate the condition. The doctor appoints enemas with starch and chamomile, anesthetic candles in the anus and mandatory wiping with his petroleum jelly. It is recommended to drink as much liquid as possible and, if possible, to exclude coffee from the diet. Meat is used in strictly limited quantities, vegetables must be heat treated, to avoid dysbacteriosis. Fruits (apples and pears) can be eaten, but only without peel.

It is necessary to completely exclude any kind of spices, fruits and vegetables with seeds, bread with bran, all fatty, including butter and fried foods. And remember that the improvement may come already in the first week of treatment, however, a good and lasting result requires a longer and daily application of herbs and diet.
