To do this, take herring spicy salting 300 g (this is about 1 - 2 pieces), 250 grams of carrots, potatoes, beets, 2 large apples, one large onion, 2 eggs and mayonnaise. The classic herring recipe under a fur coat implies that the prepared salad will resemble a cake with its appearance, so it will take a large plate with a flat bottom. Beets, potatoes, eggs, carrots must be boiled in a small saucepan. While they are cooking, you can do cooking herring. For salad preparation it is more convenient to use fillets, but if you can not buy it, then the whole fish will do. It must be cleaned of the insides and bones. Observing the classic herring recipe under a fur coat, it should be finely chopped and put on the bottom of the plate. Vegetables after cooking should be peeled and grated on a fine grater. To add a little spicy, you can add a little crushed garlic to mayonnaise. If the herring under the fur coat is prepared for the festive table, then the layers can be laid out in a round shape for the cake, and then carefully removed. So they will not fall apart and will be even. From above, the resulting "cake" should be well smeared with mayonnaise and sprinkled with boiled eggs rubbed on a fine grater. On the sides, the salad can be decorated with greens. Of course, this dish is very different from the classic recipe, but it is still a variation of it.
