In the event that your baby does not have favorite heroes, the treat can be made in the form of a Barbie doll (for girls) or a car (for boys).

How are cakes made of mastic for children?

Having decided to prepare an original and very beautiful dessert, many housewives are afraid that they will not get anything done. However, it should be noted that the mastic cake for children is done quite easily. The main thing at the same time is to show proper creative imagination and observe all the requirements of the recipe.

So what foods are needed to make a cake of mastic for children? Most often these desserts are prepared using a biscuit base. To bake it, we need the following components:

  • Condensed milk - ½ cup;
  • Sour cream of fat content - 175 g;
  • Eggs raw large - 4 pcs .;
  • White sugar - 200 g;
  • Soda slaked or baking powder - incomplete dessert spoon;
  • Twice sifted flour - from 250 g (add at discretion);
  • Vegetable oil - 7 ml (for lubricating the bowl).

Products for mastics

Mastic for a cake can be done in different ways. Someone uses for this purpose milk powder, someone - gelatin, and someone prefers to make it from marshmallows. We decided to use the latter option.

So, for the preparation of mastic we will need:

  • Powdered sugar - about 350 g;
  • Marshmallow white or multi-colored - about 170 g;
  • Dried cream - about 80 g;
  • Lemon juice - a large spoon;
  • Food colorants - for obtaining different colors;
  • Vanillin fragrant - on the tip of the knife.

The process of preparation of mastics

To make mastic for the cake, fresh marshmallow is ground, put in a deep bowl, and then placed in a microwave oven. In it, the sweet product is held for 30 minutes. Then warmed up marshmallin carefully mash with a spoon. After that, it is mixed together with dry cream, powdered sugar and vanillin. If necessary, the resulting mass is divided into individual portions and food dyes added . In this composition, all the ingredients are thoroughly kneaded with the hands until an elastic and malleable mastic is formed which will cease to adhere to the hands.

Making cakes with mastic for children

Now you know how to quickly and easily prepare mastic for a cake. But this is not enough to cover it beautifully with dessert. To do this, carefully masticated mastic is well rolled out on a flat board. So that it does not stick to the hands and the surface of the table, it is sprinkled with either corn flour or sugar powder. The mastic is rolled with a rolling pin like a regular dough. It should be taken into account that it will cover not only the top of the dessert, but all its sides. Make a shape for this or that detail a little more than necessary. Extra centimeters can be cut off later.

After products of a certain color and size are ready, they neatly spread on a biscuit, greased with cream, and with a little effort, press the palms to the surface of the cake. At the same time, try not to touch the mastic with your fingers. Otherwise, your fingerprints will remain on it.

It should be specially noted that it is strictly forbidden to spread mastic on freshly ground cakes. Otherwise, it just melts, then ruins all your dessert.

After the main surface of the cake is covered with mastic, proceed to decorate the dessert. To do this, from a sweet and colorful marshmallow mass make various ruffles, bows, asterisks, hearts, eyes, spouts and so on. They are also gently placed on the dessert and pressed gently.
