Broccoli. Learning to cook!

Broccoli sprouts a mixed reaction. Someone loves her, but someone hates her. In Russia, the vegetable is not very popular, our compatriots prefer to use ordinary white cabbage. Broccoli seems to be something new, incomprehensible, non-standard, but in fact it is an ancient vegetable culture that has been consumed for over 2000 years.

It's strange that, for all its great benefit, broccoli is not popular. It is a real storehouse of a wide variety of vitamins, minerals and nutrients. By the amount of vitamin A (beta-carotene), broccoli is many times greater than other vegetable crops, rich in vegetables and much needed vitamin C. In a dose equal to one glass of chopped vegetable, twice the daily norm of vitamin C is contained, and practically the entire norm of A. And this is not all! Here there are vitamins B, U, PP. And, of course, this is the richest source of mineral substances, so necessary for man.

Broccoli cabbage, thanks to fast and trouble-free digestibility by the human body, is recommended to use from the very youngest age, it can be given to children from 4 months of life.

Cooking for a child

If the vegetable is fresh and not subjected to freezing, then it is not cooked for long, 5-7 minutes; Frozen need to boil for 10-14 minutes. So, the required amount of cabbage is poured into boiling water, after the necessary time goes to the noise. It becomes very soft and easily turns into mashed potatoes. To do this, you can use a blender, but the usual crusher for mashed potatoes is also suitable. The mass can turn out to be too watery, so you can add to the desired density of crushed potatoes. For the child to salt and season the dish is not worth it. That's all! The cooking process is fast, but the dish is useful.

Cooking for adults

Broccoli cabbage in batter. The dish turns out to be quite interesting and tasty. By the way, it can often be found in the menu of a fast food cafe.

So, cabbage does not boil. If frozen is purchased, then it must be completely unfrozen.

We prepare the batter. Mix the following ingredients: egg, 100 ml. Milk, spoon three flour, be sure to season with seasonings, add a couple of cloves of garlic, passed through the crush, and salt. In the resulting mass, add mayonnaise to a consistency similar to sour cream. Mix thoroughly. The clay is ready.

It's hot. Each inflorescence descends into a bowl with batter, is abundantly lubricated and sent to a frying pan with already warmed vegetable or butter. How to appear a golden crust - cabbage is ready, now it is removed from the frying pan and sent to a napkin, which will absorb excess oil. It turns out just yummy!

This recipe can be used a little differently. To roast the cabbage not in a pan, but in a saucepan with boiling vegetable oil. It turns out, so-called, cabbage-fries. In this case, the crust will be smooth, beautiful, crispy and tasty.

Broccoli cabbage baked

Cabbage (400 grams) is sorted into inflorescences and placed in a saucepan with salted boiling water for about 10 minutes, then reclines into a colander.

Sauce. A tablespoon of flour is fried in butter, then half a liter of cream is added to it and brought to a boil. Immediately after this, put in a sauce 150 grams of cheese, grated on a grater. Once the cheese is completely melted, add salt and add your favorite spices.

Broccoli cabbage is laid out in a roasting dish or frying pan, filled with cooked cream sauce and baked for about 25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. As soon as the ruddy crust has started to appear - the baked broccoli is ready!
