Brest Regional Cadet School, Yastrembel

Not immediately from the Polotsk Cadet Corps, established in 1835, formed the modern Brest regional cadet school. Although many fine traditions in a hundred and fifty years not only recalled, but were implemented. For example, the motto is "Life is for the Motherland, honor is for no one!". Cadet Corps of Polotsk ceased to exist in 1918. And in 1953, in the not-so-distant year, the Minsk Suvorov School was opened, which earned its fame as graduates-famous military commanders.

History

Times change rapidly, but in any of them, military people are necessary. There was a Cadet school for orphans in Mogilev in 2002, and four years later, cadet classes opened at the Yastrembel boarding school. More than sixty girls and boys were trained there then for military affairs.

And in 2011 by order of the regional executive committee the boarding school of Yastrembel was reorganized into the Brest regional cadet school. Now two hundred four young cadets from different parts of Belarus are studying there. So from several military-patriotic classes opened on the basis of a boarding school, an educational institution was set up, almost every Belarusian boy and many, many girls dream to do.

Today

They take pupils to the Brest Regional Cadet School from the eighth to the eleventh grade. In total, there are nine platoons (classes) for the Cadets, and two educated teachers are working with each class. The Baranovichi military garrison is the recognized chief of the school, and the influence of these officers has a great impact on the military-patriotic education of the Cadets.

Not a single district or city event takes place without the participation of students of the Cadet classes. There are they and on thematic meetings, they win in sports competitions and various competitions. Good and amateur, in which most of the cadets are employed.

Accomplishments and awards

On civil-patriotic competitions of 2008-2011 with the title "For the Honor of the Motherland!", In which fifteen pupils of all cadet corps of the Republic of Belarus took part, excellent training was shown by the Brest Regional Cadet School. The shifts took place in the health-improving republican camp Zubrenok. The cadets showed how versatile the young people they are.

The TV festival of army song brought the two cadets the third place in the republic. And the best writer of the republican junior creative competition was also a pupil, who is proud of the Brest Regional Cadet School (Yastrembel): in 2010, Igor Grischuk won the nomination "A Story or a Poem dedicated to the forest and foresters." For the excellent military-patriotic upbringing, the director of the school received a medal at the request of the Union of Officers.

The main tasks of patriotic education

A.G. Lukashenko very closely watches how new generations are growing, topical priorities are defined, the tasks for the modern school are set. The main thing that is outlined is accomplished by an uninterrupted chain: this is the connection of generations, respect for the history of the state, human values, love for the Motherland and the people who inhabit it, the desire for peace and harmony between people. This applies to the Cadet Corps even more than to ordinary general schools.

The future military is much more educated in a moral and ethical way, and civil education is on par with artistic, aesthetic and intellectual development. The skills of a healthy lifestyle are necessarily introduced. That is why the Brest Regional Cadet School reviews graduates receive the most positive. The educational process of the school itself implements the program of the military educational component.

Day of the Cadet

This holiday is held annually, in November, and the cadets prepare themselves for a whole year: for them, apart from joy and excitement, indescribable pride in their own belonging to such a noble concept as the Kadet. For all, this day is extremely important, because both the acquaintances and the unfamiliar guests accept this day the Brest Regional Cadet School. The solemn event of the day of the Cadet shows absolutely all aspects of the life of the school. Each platoon prepares a presentation of the "I am a Cadet", a review competition for the best system and song is conducted, the military orchestra accompanies every unit with a solemn march. It is on this day that cadets for best achievements are awarded valuable gifts and diplomas, and the pennant "The Best Cadet Platoon" is awarded and the titles of "Vice-Cadet" and "Senior Vice-Cadet" are awarded.

Promotions

It is not for nothing that cadet schools are considered the best place for beneficial personal growth. Here the activity of each pupil is accurately organized literally every minute, none of them ever idle. Work in the hands and thought in my head is the credo of the educational process, which embodies the Brest Regional Cadet School of the village of Yastrembel. The GUESO (public institution of general secondary education) is far from being able to produce such effective programs.

Nevertheless, sometimes cadets and unprogrammed actions are carried out by anyone. This concerns the only case when students literally summed up the Brest Regional Cadet School. "Pursuit" - the coat of arms, abolished by the referendum of 1995, not in any way forbidden, but for some reason accepted by the Belarusian opposition on the rampage, the cadet group demonstrated on the social network depicted on their shirts. Naturally, the opposition (for the most part Ukrainian for some reason), seeing this photo, gladdened happily that "still the Polish has not died away" ... But it is unlikely that the Cadets really are its like-minded people.

Agitation

Agitation work of the school is at the highest level. One of the permanent actions is a performance in the Baranovichi House of Culture before the seventh grades of all the schools in the city. Thus, more than six hundred people can assess their chances of entering the Brest Regional Cadet School.

The year 2015 brought a very good competition for each cadet seat. Also, special outreach actions in Pinsk, Ivatsevichi, Lyakhovichi, for example, where live communication takes place in addition to the concert program, also help a lot. With the cadets and the administration of the school, non-resident schoolchildren communicate.

Tourism

Very often pupils-cadets make local history trips on their native land, thoroughly preparing for each: the route is studied, equipment is prepared, the number of products is determined according to the compiled menu. Hikes are often on foot and last for several days. Here, literally in early April 2016, a pedestrian crossing was made from Yastrembel through Maly and Velikie Luki, Bogushi and finally Mlynok back to the native threshold. Everywhere the cadets got acquainted with the history of each place, visited museums, inspected sights and memorial places. They brought home wonderful memories and new acquaintances. For example, the indelible impression was left by the school teacher and poet II Montic, the national masteress E. S. Bernat. Beauty products, woven from cattails, was beyond praise. But of course, the cadets experienced special feelings by visiting the former nuclear warhead storage facility.

The other two platoons also visited Nesvizh and Mir Castle in the same time, having seen the exceptional architectural beauty that existed in their native land since the sixteenth century. It is not in vain that both of these castles are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the cadets returned to the school with delight. The luxury and beauty of these castles are simply incredible. And the story is so rich that they are emotionally charged for life, even hardly touched by them. Everything happened there: love and misery, disappointment, war, intrigue and mystery, loyalty and betrayal. Naturally, the guys returned home, full of not only new energy, but also pride and trembling.

Atypical objects

The first of these is choreography. Yes, ballroom dances are mostly taught by the cadets of the Brest School. A little study and modern podtantsovki, but most importantly - classics. And here at balls (even in Minsk!) All the mazurkas are performed by the Cadets. And even their own cadet waltz in their repertoire is already present, written together with the teachers of the school.

Next - sewing. Of course, girls are studying. The equipment is up-to-date, it was purchased by a charitable foundation from Italy. Therefore, girls with the end of the school are not only able to sew. They become professionals, receiving a diploma and even a work degree.
