Blue Lake (Tula region): a brief description

Human activity rarely differs humane attitude to nature. Especially noticeable is the impact of the technical achievements of mankind on the mining sites of various minerals. However, there are cases when a violation of the landscape adds to the vicinity of the attraction. A unique blue lake (Tula region), nicknamed popularly "pants", appeared due to human interference in the environment.

History

It all began in the distant 1933 from the time of exploitation of the refractory clay deposit in the Suvorov district near the village of Konduki. In the 30s almost all work was done manually, and the annual volume did not exceed 30 thousand tons. Mechanization of manual labor has made its changes. In the 1950s, the output increased more than tenfold and amounted to 500,000 tons of raw materials per year.

Peak production took place in the 70 years of the last century. The rocks were not deep, and the development of deposits was conducted in an open manner. The empty breed was excavated and stored on the boundaries of quarries, gradually growing into slag heaps.

The eighties became a turning point. Suvorov's mine management ceased to exist, leaving behind canyons, gorges and piled mountains. Over time, individual quarries were filled with ground and thawed waters and to date have turned into blue lakes (Tula region, Suvorov district) with an unusual relief.

Features

The man-made miracle did not go unnoticed. Numerous lovers of outdoor activities are happy to visit these places. On a vast territory you can find more than one blue lake. Tula region is different in that its lake system is not uniform for all water bodies. This is a rarity for the middle zone of Russia.

Lakes have their own characteristics and differ:

  • A shade of water, from a gentle turquoise to a deep blue;
  • Depth;
  • Composition of banks: there are sandy, clayey, mixed;
  • Height of the dumps and their color;
  • Presence or absence on the vegetation (some soils are not suitable for plants);
  • The presence of livestock (fish is not everywhere);
  • Chemical composition of water (along with fresh water bodies there are also brackish water).

Description

The most famous blue lake (Tula region has several such objects) called Pants, is deservedly popular not only among local residents. Here on weekends Muscovites and the population of nearby regions come.

The highest "mountain" reaches 207 meters. Dumps around quarries have different shades. There are pinkish, beige, almost white or black, gray, brown, with orange impregnations. Some in its structure resemble rocky massifs.

Places of stunning beauty can not help but like. From a large number of people you can go deeper into the forest belt and find small ponds, completely virgin. They do not always have access to transport.

Most small reservoirs are located in the forest, which managed to grow after the closure of the mine. This is also due to the local huntsmen: they try to plant the slopes with trees, strengthening the banks. Sometimes plants do not take root, there are dumps, in principle, not suitable for plants. In the general landscape there are amazing places, more reminiscent of someone else's planet.
