In 2011, the refurbished airfield complex was put into operation. It included a runway 2300 meters long, an apron and parking for aircraft. New equipment has appeared: landing system, light-signal technology and lighting mast.

Gorno-Altaisk Airport can currently service such aircraft as all types of Bongs, A- (319 and 320), TU-204. As a result, regular and charter flights to different cities of Russia became possible. From the airport it is convenient to get to the resort of Belokurikha and the ski resort of Manzherok. A new economic zone is being built eight kilometers from Gorno-Altaisk, and the health resort Aya is 10 km away.

Registration of passengers

Gorno-Altaisk airport starts registration of passengers one hour before departure according to the schedule. The end of the procedure takes place 25 minutes before the departure of the aircraft.
