Povolzhsky Institute of Management named after P.A. Stolypin is recruiting future managers

Povolzhsky Institute of Management named after PA Stolypin (or PAGS) is a university specializing in the training of officials and civil servants. It was founded in the 22nd year of the 20th century, when a communist university was set up on the basis of an educational institution for girls to train party cadres.

Since 2010 the Stolypin Institute has been a part of the Russian Academy of Science and Technology. At the moment, the number of students studying is 11,000. The cost of training is from 70 240 rubles for one year of full-time education. However, it should be noted that the university has budget seats, and a quota for citizens from the Republic of Crimea is also allocated. As a major scientific and educational center, the university is called upon to fill the need for the Volga region in officials and other civil servants. PAGS is currently ranked seventh among other educational institutions in the Saratov region according to the rating of universities.

Partnership programs

In addition to broad mutual integration with other structural subdivisions of the Russian Academy of Science, the Volga Institute of Management named after PA Stolypin no less actively interacts with foreign universities and major Russian universities. The objectives of this program in general terms are as follows:

  • First of all, this is the exchange of students and young international scholars;
  • Holding international conferences in the Volga region;
  • Obtaining international grants;
  • The accumulation of experience for consultations of Russian authorities on international issues.

Successful PAGS students are trained for half a year in Slovakia and Belgium within the framework of concluded agreements. It is important to note that full visa support for students is being conducted. Also, the teaching staff and students of the university have the opportunity to publish their scientific works in the periodicals of foreign partners.

Scientific activity

Povolzhsky Institute of Management named after PA Stolypin, in turn, serves as a platform for placing articles in Russian by scientists from abroad. On a permanent basis in the university there are programs for the exchange of accumulated knowledge, raising the level of skills for partners from the far and near abroad.

The main priorities in the scientific activity of the institution are the development and implementation of modern management programs in state structures. In view of the new political and economic challenges that Russia faces, the competent distribution of human resources and their level of qualifications is becoming particularly relevant.

Thus, the Stolypin Academy today is far from the last institution of higher education, which should be paid attention to as an entrant at admission, as well as to young scientists, post-graduate students who would like to find themselves in scientific work.
