The increase in the number of vehicles for various purposes on the roads of the country leads to the development of networks of gas stations and the improvement of equipment on them. The capacity of filling stations, the speed of refueling of cars, the nomenclature of petroleum fuel with high functional and ecological properties have grown.

Types of Petrol Stations

Petrol stations can be divided into groups in accordance with fire safety standards NPB 111-98.

Traditional stationary gas stations are capital structures with underground reservoirs that are located farther from fuel dispensers. They are placed, designed, built and operated in strict accordance with construction norms and rules, norms and instructions for fire safety.

Stationary are both block filling stations, in which the columns are located above the underground reservoir, and modular, in which fuel storage containers are spaced apart from the columns.

A mobile filling station is a tank on the chassis of a truck with one type of liquid motor fuel.

And the last, recently received type of filling station is a container filling station.

This type of gas station is used in small settlements, for fueling departmental transport, and in summer - for personal vehicles.

Container filling station

To install a container filling station, you do not need to perform excavation work, arrange complex foundations and fuel drainage wells, perform installation of tanks to collect emergency fuel spillage. But, nevertheless, any container filling station is manufactured in strict accordance with the requirements of fire safety standards. The fuel storage container is made in the form of an all-metal construction, divided into compartments by fire-resistant partitions.

In the fueling compartment there are fuel dispensers. In separate compartments there is a fuel storage tank and an explosion-proof transfer pump for filling it with fuel.

Technological equipment can be installed on the hatch of the tank, and then on the top of the container there is a fenced platform for servicing this equipment. There are variants of KASS designs, in which the equipment is located on the side in a special technological compartment.

Common to all designs of filling stations is the ground location of the tank and the placement of columns in the container.

Completion of container filling stations

A container filling station consists of two or more containers: a fuel storage container (one or several) and a control container or control room, also called an operator's station.

The management container can be calculated not only for the location of the operator's workplace, but also for the rest room or warehouse. The operator's room is equipped with lighting and internal wiring, there are control devices for the speakers. The delivery set may include a power cabinet, laboratory or metrological equipment, a speakerphone system.

Container filling stations can be designed for fuel from one to four types.

The capacity of tanks, single-walled or double-walled, can be from three to forty cubic meters. The Lukoil oil company supplies container-type filling stations with a capacity of 40 cubic meters. Meters with the ability to operate in the climatic conditions of the Arctic and the Far North.

It would seem that the giants of the oil business do not need mini-fueling, but the goals are different. A small four-cube container filling station Gazpromneft, no less famous Russian company, uses for its own needs.

Fuel storage container

Fuel storage containers are equipped with tanks of different capacity and of different types: one-, two-, three- or four-section. Fuel dispensers can also vary in type.

At the gas station, double-walled tanks are used, in which the wall space for fire safety requirements is filled with antifreeze or gas, and a leakage monitoring sensor must be installed.

Technological equipment includes not only the pipes on which the tank is filled with fuel, and fuel delivery pipes, measuring pipes and manholes, upper level sensors, but also flame retardants, shut-off and breathing valves. The reservoir and pipes are made of high-quality steels, if necessary frost-resistant or stainless, with a thickness of 2 mm.

A single-walled tank with a pallet for collection of spilled fuel can be used if the container filling station is located outside the settlement.

Fuel dispensers can be either single-arm, for example "Topaz-511", and two-pistol, and even three-arm. For example, for OAO Gazprom, the filling station was equipped with an additional column for two types of fuel in case of failure of the main three-arm.

Optional equipment

As the additional equipment in the container filling stations autonomous systems of different designation can be established.

Without the operator's participation and the availability of external control systems, a system of autonomous fuel loading is installed in the filling stations. A microcomputer, a proxy card reader (personal magnetic cards with information about the limit of the fuel being released) and a keyboard are installed on each fuel dispenser, and it works autonomously. In this case, the column can be either single-arm, or designed for several types of fuel.

The central computer in the head office processes information coming from individual columns using GSM communication.

Fuel can be released autonomously through terminals, which must be installed at a distance of at least three meters from the CAS. Terminals can be as usual for bank plastic cards, and for limit cards for own use, for example, by an enterprise.

In addition to the filling stations, fire extinguishing systems and level control systems in tanks are installed at the customer's request. For example, the container filling station Gazpromneft is equipped with the Buran fire extinguishing system and the sensor type PMP of Sensor. The level gauge allows to measure the liquid level in the tank, its temperature, density and volume.

The gas station for one of the largest domestic oil companies produced approximately one project from several manufacturers. The whole network of KAZS is intended for use as full-fledged mobile gas stations in the Far North and Western Siberia.

Fuel dispensers and tanks allow storing and delivering three types of fuel: diesel fuel, gasoline AI-80 and AI-92 at temperature drops from -60 to +40 ° C.

Modern automated systems track the filling of the tank, the state of stored fuels and their release.

KAZS are equipped with two two-arm fuel dispensers connected to the remote control via the RS-485 interface.

Factors affecting the price of the CAS

The manufacturer can not pre-compute the cost of each individual gas station. The prices depend on many factors for container filling stations, and today the market fluctuates from 160 thousand to 4.5 million rubles.

The main factor is the number of tanks and their volume. The tank with a volume of one cubic meter is designed for one type of fuel, and the volume of 40 cubic meters. M - on three.

The next factor is the accuracy of the fuel accounting system and its automation. Cash register, computer, special software, modern means of communication with the central office can be installed at the gas station at the request of the customer and, of course, affect the price.

Not all customers complete their gas stations with a separate control point (operator). And this is a separate container, and it affects the price very noticeably.

The price of KAZS of different climatic performances differs . Not only do special frost-resistant steels are used to make the tank, heating systems for fuel in pipelines are often installed.

The equipment also affects the price of the gas station. Fuel dispensers can differ in design, type, installation method and manufacturer. Even approximately the same columns produced in Germany, Italy, Russia or China are noticeably different in price.

The power of the pump, the presence of a level gauge of a particular design, components - these moments are also important and have an impact on the price.

The price, undoubtedly, is an important argument in the choice of gas stations. But you need to choose it all the same for the quality of components and materials. These factors are much more important for the safe and long-term operation of container filling stations.
