Increasingly, managers and owners of enterprises and organizations trust the fire protection of their production and office areas for automation. Modern smart security systems not only provide an alarm in a timely manner, but also independently start to extinguish. The eyes of any automatic system are sensors (detectors). They directly respond to the primary fire factors, creating a signal consisting of electrical impulses, understandable to fire automatics. A little about the first fire detectors

The first fire detectors were TP heat meters. This is 99% of all detectors used in fire protection systems of objects until about 1995. The device is two brass plates welded with a special composition with a low melting point.

Depending on the type of room, on its operating temperature, alloys with different characteristics are used. After all, in the steel shop and, for example, in the finished goods warehouse at the ice cream factory, the operating temperatures will vary greatly. Such sensors are placed evenly over the area of the room, as well as over the most fire-hazardous points.

The principle of the device is easy to describe. As the temperature rises above the critical temperature, the alloy collapses, the plates are dilated under the action of the elastic force from each other, which causes a sharp jump in resistance in the AL circuit. Despite the phenomenal simplicity, such a detector had one significant drawback - an extremely low response speed. After all, in order to melt the solder, the room should already burn the fire.

Principle of operation

Detector IP 212 3SU refers to more advanced devices that can detect ignition at the earliest stage. What is the basis of his work?

The "heart" of the device IS 212 3SU is a smoke chamber. In the body of the chamber there is a light-wave emitter and a photodetector. Their mutual arrangement is such that in normal mode the light produced by the radiator does not enter the receiver.

But in the room, and accordingly in the smoke chamber, smoke appears (and smoke is nothing but particles of solid carbon in the form of coal and graphite), as the picture changes. Some of the light rays reflected from the smoke particles begin to enter the photodetector. And when the intensity of the radiation received by the photocell overcomes a certain predetermined threshold, the ИП 212 3СУ is triggered, and a sharp drop in resistance occurs in the loop of the alarm loop. The electronic filling of the device helps to cut off false alarms, filtering out changes in natural light and getting into the camera of household dust.

Application and characteristics

Used ИП 212 3СУ in all modern systems of fire automatics in combination with detectors and sensors of other designs, cameras and other security devices.

It is used for smoke detection:

- in private houses;

- apartments of multi-storey apartment houses;

- office premises;

- in warehouses of material values of any type;

- in production buildings and structures of any, including agricultural, orientation.

- can be used in the range from minus 40 to plus 60 ° C and humidity up to 98%;

- V power supply - 9 ... 30 V;

The response time is no more than five seconds.
