The typical fire alarm system is not such a simple complex of unique technical means that are simply necessary and serve to detect fire in time, as well as to generate control signals intended for fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems in automatic mode. It includes such elements as:

• Control panel. The receiving-control device.

• Remote control, for controlling it (if necessary).

• Equipment intended for the operator center.

• Fire detectors and all kinds of warning devices (warning lights, sirens, etc.).

To supply this system are designed control devices. Alarm alerts that create stand-alone fire detectors, generate messages and transmit to the operator's center. Types of fire fighting systems:

• Conventional systems. Detectors have a fixed threshold of sensitivity. In addition, a group of such detectors is instantly included in the common loop of the alarm system, in which, after the operation of just one of the detectors, a generalized alarm signal will be generated in the loop.

• Targeted systems. In them in the notice there is information about the address where fire detectors are installed. Due to this, it is possible to determine the source of fire to the exact location where the fire detector is installed.

Sometimes it is necessary not only to find the place of ignition, but also in a very short time this fire is localized. There is not one type of fire extinguishing systems : powder, water, gas. The principle of their action is based on a decrease in the concentration of oxygen in an enclosed space by spraying carbon dioxide and refrigerant.
