Why you need to calibrate your Android screen

If you use any of the modern tablets (for example, running on the OS "Android"), sooner or later you will come across the fact that your touch screen will deteriorate the sensitivity.

This can happen for various reasons: the settings may be lost as a result of a prolonged use of the device or after applying specific or substandard programs. This problem will be solved by Android screen calibration.

Why this procedure and what does it give?

The initial calibration of any sensor device is done right after production, even before the tablet is available for sale. But over time, due to numerous touches of different strengths, these settings may get lost, the sensitivity of the phone will fall.

Calibrating the Android screen will help restore the sensor to normal sensitivity, and also adjust the phone for the features of your pressing. In addition, you can change the desired touch sensitivity: for example, if it is more convenient for you to use light touch, then "tell" about this to your tablet.

How is the Android screen calibrated ?

This process does not require any special knowledge or additional skills in handling the tablet, because the operating system "Android" has a built-in utility for calibration.

To start it, open the main system menu, then select the "Settings" item. Open the horizontal menu, scroll to the "Display" line, tap it, and then launch the "Horizontal Calibration" application.

Now put the phone on a flat surface and do not touch until the system notifies you about the successful completion of the process.

In the same menu, there is the item "Gyro Calibration". This function is useful if the device does not respond correctly to changing its position: for example, when turning on its side does not go to horizontal or, conversely, vertical mode.

But these functions, though called calibration, have no effect on the sensitivity of the touch screen. To change these settings, you will need to install third-party applications that you use to calibrate. But be careful! In case of incorrect configuration or because of errors in their program code, you can come to the fact that the phone generally stops responding to the touch!

If it does happen, do not panic. Calibration of the Android screen can be made in one more emergency way. To do this, you need to simultaneously hold down three buttons: increase the volume, turn on and "Home". If you do everything correctly, the utility will start, with the help of which the settings will be rolled back to the factory settings.

Is it possible to calibrate the iPhone screen ?

Although tablets and phones with an apple are equally susceptible to problems with the sensor, unlike Android, they do not provide manual calibration of the touchscreen. It is produced only when assembling the device, and unfortunately, it is only corrected by purchasing a new screen, by the way, very expensive. Therefore, try to protect your favorite device, especially its screen.
