What you need in order to assemble the system unit
Everyone saw what a computer looks like. This is the same white metal box, usually placed in a special compartment of the table, closer to the floor. It is called a "system block". You can collect it yourself, and not buy a ready-made model in the store.
Inside the case there are electronic components making up the system.
Benefits
Surprisingly, many people when buying a computer do not even think about the possibility of self-assembly. Although it is easier to buy a ready-made system unit that is sold in computer equipment stores , this is not always the best solution. For example, having received a new apartment, it is considered the norm to rework something in it. Yes, and car configurations are selected individually. But with respect to computers, the opposite is true - they are often purchased already assembled. There is no need to talk about any configuration flexibility. But knowing how to assemble a system unit, this injustice can be easily overcome.
Components
Before you begin to build, you need to purchase the right components. Some of them are mandatory, others - auxiliary.
How to assemble the system unit
The very first thing you need to do is decide on the platform. The two are based on AMD and Intel. After that, you should buy the processor of the selected company. Then the motherboard, remembering at the same time that the type of the socket of these two components should be identical.
It is not possible to assemble the system unit without RAM, so you should purchase the modules of the desired volume. The motherboard and processor support only a certain standard (DDR2 or 3), this should be taken into account.
If you want to build a gaming system unit, then you do not need to save on a video card. All modern cards and video adapters support the PCI-Express bus, so everything is simple - the main thing is that their versions coincide.
Choosing a hard disk should not cause difficulties, since now mass-produced devices only two interfaces - USB and SATA. A second type is needed.
When buying a monitor, you should take into account that its interface coincides with the output connector of the video card. Otherwise, you will need to use adapters to connect the connecting cable.
The housing in which all components are housed must be large enough to allow efficient heat exchange.
