Why does human society need order? Is it possible to do without it?

Man is a social being. Everyone is born an individual. Personality is formed only in the process of socialization, that is, adaptation to the norms and requirements of society. Ability to be successful and realize your career, realize your personal potential means the ability to negotiate with other people, take their interests into account. Take the order of things that is established in society and is convenient for each of its members.

Why does human society need order?

The question is simple, but it requires explanation. There is a concept of public order. Does the law create order? No. This is only a means of preventing disorder and punishment for violation of norms. Then who creates order in society?

The most organized society. This is a system of accounting for the interests of representatives of the society, and the form of organization of this account. Really, let's think about this concept. Why does human society need order? Perhaps, it is possible to do without establishing norms of behavior and life?

In the natural environment, the order is predetermined by the logic of nature itself. If you break the order and natural balance - nature pays the form of its existence: from extinction of species and ending with natural disasters.

Principles of public order

In the society there is also a natural harmony. The very organization of human individuals is based on the principle of "reasonable person". Thinking is he who organizes the principle of people. Sapiens Homo is a reasonable person. Order for him means adherence to the principles of human community:

  • Carry out socially useful activities;
  • Follow the principle of morality (morality) and legality (compliance with the law);
  • Do not violate the norms of other members of society, be tolerant of a different opinion (tolerance).

These are some of the basic rules of behavior in society, on which the order and safety of society are based.

Implications of imbalance

  • Legal order. If a person violates the principle of legality, he is subject to the penalties prescribed by law. In the form of penalties or penitentiary measures. Depending on the degree of the offense and the danger of the act for other members of society. This is all relatively clear.

  • Moral order. If a person violates the requirements of morality, then why? Human society needs order, and the institution of religion speaks of a high pay for the sins of a mortal man. Everyone will be rewarded for their deeds.
  • Social order. The society reacts to the violation of moral order by a system of alienation from society. Asocial behavior, or violation of the principle of social benefit, is fraught with consequences, primarily for the offender himself. In essence, this is a form of social sadomasochism. When a person through the denial of socially important norms comes to the process of self-destruction.

  • Principle of tolerance. If a person professes any values that are important to him personally, ideology, racial beliefs, and at the same time does not violate the bounds of what is permitted and does not affect the interests of other individuals, the principle of tolerance works here. To be tolerant of other forms of life activity is the level of civilized relations. Violation of this order leads to aggressive forms of behavior and entails sanctions and negative consequences for the subject of the violation.

Chaos as a violation of order

Violation of the norms of society, as well as similar violations of rules in nature, leads to an imbalance of interests of representatives of this society. And consequently, as in the natural environment, to the facts of the disappearance of life forms and cataclysms, only on a social scale. That's why human society needs order. The antipode of order in society is chaos, which does not correspond to rational human nature and serves as an element of unconscious forms of behavior.
