"Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice": actors and roles

At the moment, the advantage on the side of Marvel is not only in quality, but also in the number of pictures. However, in recent years, DC Entertainment has improved its position. After the success of the trilogy about the Dark Knight and the painting of Man of Steel, it was decided to unite the main actors of the films in the project "Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice." Actors for this movie were picked up excellent, almost the same stars, that's just not all viewers liked their game.

In a new film, DC collided between the two most famous characters of their own comics: The Newcomer from Krypton and Knight Gotham.

According to the story, during the battle between Superman and General Zod Bruce Wayne watched from the side, horrified how many people became casual victims of this battle. Because of this, he began to despise Man out of steel.

Time passes, but Batman's hatred of the newcomer from Krypton is growing. This is facilitated by the intrigues of Lex Luthor, who decided to push two fighters against crime. Thanks to Luthor all have the impression that the Man of Steel is not a hero, but a potential threat to the planet. Frustrated with himself, Clark Kent leaves Metropolis. And while he tries to figure out his role in the life of the Earth, Batman kidnaps Lex from kryptonite and makes a weapon against him.

Luthor, after learning about the loss of the alien mineral, goes to the ship of the Kryptonians and with the help of the equipment found there, creates a monster of Doomsday, capable of destroying Superman. In addition, Lex orders to kidnap Martha (Clark's adoptive mother). And after blackmailing Kent, threatening to kill the woman who brought him up if he does not crack down on Batman.

The last son of Krypton goes to meet with the Dark Knight to try to negotiate with him and outsmart Luthor. But Batman does not want to listen to him and immediately tries to kill him. Using weapons from kryptonite, Wayne defeats Kent, but at the last moment Clark manages to reach Bruce.

Heroes unite and save Martha Kent. Unexpectedly, Doomsday appears and crushes everything around. To help Superman and Batman comes the Miracle Woman, but even together they can not kill the monster. Then Clark finds the kryptonite spear created by Wayne to fight him, and kills the monster of Luthor with this weapon. In this case, the hero perishes by himself.

At the end of the picture, people around the world are mourning over the death of Superman, Lex went insane and got into prison, and Batman and Wonder Woman are planning to create a Justice League to protect the planet from new threats.

Ben Affleck: The Next Generation Batman

Despite the fact that Affleck with his strong-willed chin was almost perfect for the role of Knight Gotham, many spectators were categorically against his appointment. And as it turned out, not in vain, since after the release of the film, Ben Affleck was severely criticized. Batman in his performance was named the worst in history, although earlier this title was worn by George Clooney.

However, such reviews are not fair in everything. As an actor Affleck played quite dignified, and it's not his fault that the script writers so perverted Batman's favorite image of everyone, turning valiant defender Gotham into an envious fool and paranoid. In this case, Ben can be blamed for the fact that he launched himself and pretty much got it, having received from the fans the nickname "fat Batman".

It is worth noting that in the "Suicide Squad" in which Affleck also appeared in the role of the Dark Knight, his performance was much better, so I want to believe that in the Justice League and the solo project about Knight Gotham this performer will prove his skill by shaming Critics.

As for the British handsome Henry Cavill (Immortals, The Tudors) - the first Man of Steel, who refused the stupid habit of putting on panties over a heroic costume, he too got from critics.

First of all, negative feedback was received by the actor's habit of posing too positively in front of the camera, but the owner of such a luxurious appearance, as in Cavill, it is difficult to judge for this. It's worth mentioning that in the movie "Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice" Henry Cavill is playing Clark Kent for the second time, and very successfully. In addition, the excellent physical form and the relief muscles, specially pumped by the actor to participate in the tape, allow him to stand out nicely against the background of Affleck.

Despite the fact that at the end of this story Superman dies, fans are waiting for a meeting with him in the "League of Justice" and "Man of Steel - 2", for which Henry has already signed a contract.

So, before the audience appears quite an unusual Alexander Joseph Luthor - clever head of LexCorp, not noticing ordinary people and hiding from them under his luxurious costume. Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor) creates in the picture a kind of Joker in simple clothes, seeming open to any person. With the development of the plot, he devises more and more insane plans, until he releases a monster, which he himself is unable to control.

Viewers are still arguing: the new Lex - is the merit of the writers or the idea of Jesse?

By the way, for the sake of the role the actor allowed to shave himself, although in the end he remained dissatisfied with his work. In an interview, Jesse said that in future pictures he does not intend to play Luthor again.

Lois Joan Lane in the performance of American Amy Adams

As in Man of Steel, the beloved hero from Krypton - Lois Lane - performed in the movie "Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice" - Amy Adams (Enchanted, The Muppets). Despite the fact that the actress is pretty good for the second time playing this role, some critics believe her heroine is too simple, compared with the canonical character from the comics.

At the same Lois in the performance of Adams on the head higher than this heroine played by Erica Durance, but slightly below the level of Teri Hatcher.

By the way, this is the common problem of the whole movie "Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice": the actors, because of the oversupply of the project, simply did not have enough time to reveal the inner world of their characters. As a result, the main characters came out flat and uninteresting.

Jeremy Irons (Bruce's assistant Alfred), Kevin Costner (Clark's adoptive father), Lawrence Fishburne (chief editor of Perry White) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman) also starred among the guest stars.
