A popular reality show "The Last Hero" about the survival of celebrities in extreme conditions gathered almost thousands of fans. The original idea of this project, the Russians "spied" on the western neighbors - Britain and the US, as well as the ideas of many serials and feature films. It turned out bright - watching the adventures of celebrities was both interesting and pleasant. The viewer's eyes pleased the endless sea spaces, clear sands and untouched nature. For sure, many would like to visit the islands, where they shot "The Last Hero."

Location - Bocas del Toro, Panama

In order to see the notorious scenery and visit the main location of the reality show, you will have to go to the islands of Bocas del Toro, conveniently located in the north-west of the state of Panama. It is a group of not very large patches of land surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. If someone else is more locally interested in where the "Last Hero" was filmed, then it is better to mention a group of islands called Zapattilas. In general, the area of the entire archipelago is 250 square meters. Km. More or less large islands there are only seven, but small ones are much larger - as many as 52. The main city of the whole archipelago is the eponymous Bocas del Toro, which is located on one of the largest islands - Colón.

Tourist paradise

16 participants of the first season of the show spent 39 days in the open air here. They had to go through a lot in the fight for the main prize - $ 100,000. All applicants for the prize were divided into two tribes: Turtles and Lizards. When there were very few participants left, they were united into one team called "Sharks". The islands on which the contests were held are very small - no more than two kilometers in width and as many in length. From improvised food, you can get bird meat, fish, crabs and a variety of fruits there. But the characters of the show "The Last Hero", most likely, ate including normal food, so it is not worthwhile to focus on it.

Bad weather on the islands sometimes happens, but not strong and does not stay long, so that the beach remains constant and does not blur. The film crew lived near the heroes in the equipped bungalows, so that in general the situation is quite pleasant, although not very civilized.

No trust in television

For sure, few of the viewers believed that the reality show participants really had the same life as Robinson Crusoe. However, we can not say that on the islands of Zapattilas there are tough conditions for survival, quite the opposite. The place where the "Last Hero" was filmed is more like a resort than a school of life or impassable tropics. It just makes us think again that we do not need to believe everything that is shown on TV.

Life after the show

After the teleproject, they wrote a book about their stay on the island of some (Sergei Sakin, Ivan Lyubimenko) participants. "The last hero" forced many to reconsider their habitual life and make changes to it. The winner of the show Sergey Odintsov left his post at customs, opened a cafe and became a deputy of the Kursk regional Duma. Inna Gomez continued her career as an actress, and Natalia Tan moved to Moscow to lead her own column in the morning program on Channel One.
