In different states and at different epochs, philosophers, scientists and researchers puzzled over the question of the formation of life on Earth and the immediate appearance of man. This phenomenon is still a mystery, which, perhaps, will be able to solve our descendants. Today, there is a huge number of theories devoted to the question of how a person appeared on the Earth and when exactly it happened.

Although there are a lot of versions and all of them assume different periods and ways of appearance of the first people, all hypotheses can be divided into four large groups. The most common version of how humans appeared on Earth is the theory of evolution. It is her children who are studied in schools in biology classes, and this hypothesis is shared by most scientists.

According to the evolutionary theory, man has gone through a difficult path of rebirth from primates to a modern upright individual. The modification took place by natural selection, when the strongest and the cleverest survived. It happened in four stages. The first stage - the emergence of erect monkeys-Australopithecus, who lived in herds and could manipulate various objects with the help of hands. The second stage is the appearance of the Pithecanthropus, who learned to use fire. The third stage is the Neanderthal man who resembled a human skeleton. The fourth stage is the emergence of modern people. It is assumed that he was in the era of the late Paleolithic, that is, about 70 thousand years ago.

This theory does not fully explain how man appeared on Earth, because scientists can not find evidence of mutations that contribute to the improvement of the species. Usually they act on the contrary, worsening individual genes.

Religious theories of the origin of man on Earth are widespread among believers. Each nation has its own version, but they all converge to the fact that people are created by God out of nothing. According to the biblical version, Adam and Eve were created from clay, other religions have their own hypotheses. This theory does not require confirmation, the main thing is faith.

There is also a hypothesis about extraterrestrial intervention, that is, on our planet, life has arisen through other civilizations. It turns out that a person is a descendant of aliens, who in ancient times flew to our planet. There are several versions:

• There was a crossing of the ancestors of man and aliens.
• People were made in vitro.
• A clever man appeared thanks to genetic engineering.
• Extraterrestrial intelligence controls the evolutionary development of life.

The theory of spatial anomalies also discusses how man appeared on the Earth. It resembles an evolutionary hypothesis, but here is added a specific program for the development of random factors and life. It turns out that there is some kind of humanoid triad or spatial anomaly. If the conditions are favorable, then the humanoid mind will appear.

Scientists did not fully understand when a man appeared on Earth. According to the evolutionary theory, it happened about 70 thousand years ago, but the religious version says about the appearance of the first people only 7,5 thousand years ago. Truth, as always, in the middle, perhaps in the future, humanity will be able to reveal the secrets of its origin.
