But this is a completely different world and a different story ...

Panorama is one of the main attractions of the city

What to see in Sevastopol is simply necessary, so this is the main attraction, which describes the military affiliation of the city. The canvas shows heroism in times of war, it is devoted to the period of defense of the city. And Sevastopol has such beauty. Panorama is a famous monument, to which the main avenue of the Historic Boulevard leads. The author of the monument is Franz Alekseevich Rubo (the opening took place on May 14, 1905). This building of unique architecture, which has no analogues in the world, is decorated with lawns and a beautiful multi-level fountain, inside it there is a canvas depicting the Malakhov burial mound.

During the Second World War, the canvas and the building were partially destroyed, but artfully restored by Soviet artists and builders, they did not lose value and beauty at the same time. On the building itself you can see portraits of great admirals, defenders of the city. All the facets and limits of admiration at the sight of it are simply erased, you can spend hours silently standing and be touched by beauty.

Monument to the Scuttled Ships

There is something else that every tourist needs to see in Sevastopol. This is the splendor and grandeur of the monument to sunken ships. The entire pavement leading to this monument is laid out with a stone, and the approach to it is washed by the raging waves. It is located 20 meters from the shore, recreated as an artificial rock in the form of a pedestal with a column for a bronze eagle towering over it. On the contrary, on the wall, or rather, in the wall, there are two black admiral anchors on chains, dedicated to the armed uprising of the Black Sea Fleet in 1905 under the leadership of Lieutenant Schmidt. And on the square there is a sundial, around which there are always many tame pigeons. Down the majestic steps descend, they practically sink into the abyss of the raging waves. It became a real entertainment and attraction for children and tourists, not infrequently and the locals like to frolic under the spray left by the rolling sea waves. A steep slope was chosen by jumpers and everyone who likes to go rollerblading and scooter. Along the embankment are conveniently located a variety of cafes and eateries, tents with souvenirs and exotic fruits.

Beautiful and majestic

The ship Sevastopol is a military battleship of the Soviet Black Sea Fleet. It is a combat ship that took an active part in the fighting of the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Kronstadt mutiny. At the present time, all the ships of the line, which is Sevastopol, began to be called and divided as a class "Sevastopol". It was this battle battleship that became the founder and gave the name to the entire class of ships. In 1921, in honor of the restoration of the Parisian proletariat, it was renamed as the "Paris Commune" and in 1930 it was placed under the command of Sevastopol, where it was completely restored and modernized. In November 1941, the ship took "baptism of fire" and showed itself as an offensive and gunshot.

A special and unusual holiday

This is the parade of the Navy in Sevastopol, which is traditionally held on July 27. Celebration is always beautiful and extremely unusual, exciting and amazing, majestic and formidable, but always impressive, rich and interesting. All the action takes place in the waters of the Sevastopol Bay: in one line all the pride and glory of the Black Sea fleet is built. The most senior battleship "Kommuna" towers proudly here, and military, missile, landing, guard and many other ships follow it along the perimeter of the whole water area. The holiday begins with the air bags "Bora" and "Samum", and then everything turns into a demonstration of firepower and preparation of ships, the final stage is "fountains on the water, skillfully executed firefighters. The holiday itself is considered military sports and begins with a demonstration and laying flowers at the monuments. This is how the Navy parade is held in Sevastopol. The festive program includes: visiting museums and attractions, organizing a gala concert dedicated to the day of the Navy and a festive salute.

Count's Wharf

Perhaps, one of the most important sights of Sevastopol is the Count's Wharf. It is located on Nakhimovskaya Square and is a white colonnade with granite steps running down from it , which are immersed in the sea. The essence of the project was that it became the front berth of military ships. Now this is an incredible miracle of architectural thought, a work of art and the heritage of history, a beauty that is difficult to describe in words. A majestic white column of columns, many steps that seem to go under the water and continue to the bottom, a stone washed by the waves of the Black Sea - a majestic and beautiful view opens to the eye.

Primorsky Boulevard and Dolphinarium

It is on Primorsky Boulevard that the building of the first Institute of Physical Methods of Treatment is located. For the first time in this building scientists have proved the beneficial and curative effect of the Crimean climate on the human body. This building has its own history and its secret, it certainly deserves attention from tourists, especially young age, because a little further Primorsky Boulevard leads to the world famous dolphinarium. These cute mammals under the guidance of experienced trainers will give you unforgettable moments of weird and funny tricks and tricks, after which you can swim with these cute creatures in one pool.

Chersonese

A few kilometers from the city you can see the majestic ruins of ancient Chersonesos. This is an ancient Greek city, now known as the historical-archeological museum-reserve. The history of the city has its roots deep in the past, it is certainly fascinating and tragic, but the view that opens to the gaze here will make you forget everything. Rising a few meters above the sea, the main columns and bell are on the edge of the cliff. It is in such places that I want to believe in a fairy tale. Light and charming breeze gently strokes hair curls, barely perceptible moist air gently envelops the skin, the sound of the surf fascinates and soothes. It seems that time dies here, so that everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet, the softness of the earth, the purity of the air and the enchanting scenery. Only here you can see how the sky is bathed in the sea waves, as the sun is buried in the depths of the sea, as the first or last rays of the sun are poured in the enchanting colors of the whole well-known palette.

Balaclava

Not far from the city is the Balaklava bay, which has long been claiming the title of a miracle of the world. Such beautiful landscapes, which can only be seen here, pacify and inspire, purify the mind and soothe the soul. This is the place for those who are tired of the bustle of the big city, from the noisy and fun beaches, from entertainment and clubs, only here you can immerse yourself and discover all your inner potential. The ancient architecture plunges into the depths of history, the ruins are imbued with the spirit of the past, the sea enclosed between two rocks reminds of the greatness of nature and its strength. Cape Fiolent is very popular with tourists, which resembles a huge stone pyramid. On the edge of the cliff, on the other side of the cape, washed by the white foam of the raging waves, the building of the St. George Monastery is proudly located. According to the legend, several sailors, shipwrecked, found shelter here, off the coast of the Black Sea. Having perpetuated the icon of St. George on the rock, they organized a cave church, so it was the beginning of the monastery.

Each of these places is worthy of attention, each has its own history and secret. If you are at the shores of the Black Sea, where Grandfather caught a goldfish, do not forget about the miracle, you just have to believe in a fairy tale, and it will necessarily become a reality, especially in such beautiful and fabulous places.
