History of the metro station "Orekhovo"

As part of the site "Kashirskaya" - "Orekhovo" on the eve of the New 1985 season, a subway station was opened. The walls and columns along the roads are faced with marble of white and gray color. But the central hall is constructed from a monolithic structure. In the center of the ceiling are xenon lamps. In the hall you can count 52 columns, arranged in 2 rows, the distance between which is 6.5 m.

There are deadlocks behind the station, which in the past were used for the turnover of trains. And after the Zamoskvoretskaya line was extended, there is a service station and a night station for the convoys. But during the morning hours, because of the large station load, the trains still turn around in this place.

There is only one lobby at Orekhovo station. And you can get out of the subway through an underground passage directly to Bazhenov Street or Shipilovsky Passage.
