Viral infections

Viral infections are one of numerous groups of diseases. They are diverse in morphology and clinical course and, having high contagiousness, are capable of provoking pandemics and epidemics.

Viral infections, penetrating or activating in the body, can cause various violations. The main disorders of functional and morphological nature include:

- integration with the genome of the cell without its pronounced destruction (with hepatitis B);

- cytolytic action (noted for influenza, hepatitis A);

- formation of body-inclusions (with rabies);

- proliferation of target cells (smallpox);

- giant cell transformation (measles).

Certain viral infections can provoke neoplastic changes. However, most often in cells develop dystrophic transformations, necrosis, and in some cases - peculiar cellular changes with the formation of inclusions inside them. These formations, in turn, are important in the morphological diagnosis of certain diseases that cause viral infections.

It should be noted that pathologies can occur in several forms: acute, latent and chronic. In the second case, the symptoms of the disease are either absent or are observed periodically.

The most common of all infectious diseases now around the world are infections of the genital organs, including those caused by viruses. At the same time, observations show that the incidence rate in the population is increasing every year. Sexual infections are affected by people, regardless of age, social and race, gender. As a rule, most pathologies occur in young people who have an active sexual life.

Symptoms of sexual infections are usually diverse and invisible. It is believed that immediately after their penetration only 60-70% of the infected have symptoms. Traditionally, it is itching and redness in the genital area, often with an unpleasant color and odor of discharge, the appearance of sores and eruptions.

It should be noted that not always the infection occurs with sexual contact. So, some vaginal infections can arise as a result of uncontrolled intake of antibiotics, a decrease in the body's protective functions against the background of an unsatisfactory state of ecology, the use of poor-quality foodstuffs saturated with chemical additives, stresses, diseases and other things. First of all, all of the above causes a serious blow to immunity. At the same time, women become more vulnerable to the development of various diseases of the sexual organs.

Depending on the age, there is a susceptibility to a particular infection. For example, people aged from seventeen to twenty-five years old are affected by chlamydia. Infection can happen in youth. The bearer of the same disease can be throughout life. So, even a regular partner who has never been examined and not treated for the presence of urogenital infections, can be a source of infection. That's why they can get infected as those who prefer sex with different people, and who have contact with one person all the time.

As a rule, sexual infections in the classical form have a characteristic clinical picture and immediately draw the patient's attention to themselves. It should be noted that the development of a large number of "new" pathologies often occur secretly (in particular, in women). As a result, almost all of them in the shortest period of time acquire an acute or chronic form.

In this regard, on a simple examination visually determine if a person is sick or not, is problematic enough. It is not always possible to identify these infections and when using tests.
