Students against domestic violence.

The information and analytical agency "Workshop" with the support of the Department of Family and Youth Policy in Moscow completed the implementation of the current social project "Nasiliya.net". The purpose of the project was to prevent child abuse and prevent domestic violence. The program was completed in November 2011.

       In modern Russian society, the issues of child abuse and coercion in the family are rising with varying success. Moreover, the nature of violence itself has not been studied thoroughly enough, in detail. What are the reasons why parents are cruel to dealing with children, to destroy their own family? How to avoid situations that threaten the use of coercion? What are the ways of preventing this negative phenomenon? Especially relevant is to provide answers to these questions of young people.

The main goal of the project "Nasiliya.net" was the formation of a positive perception of the family, an intolerant attitude towards violence among young people, and minimization of its manifestations among young people.

At the initial stage of the project, a series of round tables was held to determine the areas of work for the project program, the selection of partners for its implementation, and discussion of the program's problems.

On the basis of Moscow universities, for three thousand students, there were seminars, trainings, training programs on the issues of preventing domestic violence,

In addition, to the development and implementation of social advertising, aimed at specific cases to get rid of violence in the family, was attracted to the Moscow youth.

Thanks to the project "Violence. No "the interaction of young people from state institutions of higher education of different districts of Moscow was established. This happened at the expense of live communication in the joint formation of anti-coercion programs in the family.
