Valery Borchin. Biography and sports career

All people from their earliest childhood make their first steps. But only those who can walk fastest and long distances become champions. This is not such a simple activity. Try it yourself: when you go slowly, everything will be fine, but no one will give you a medal for this. The most interesting begins when you accelerate when walking, mechanically your movements are already running. Be sure to want to make the moment of flight between the steps and bend the leg when moving the vertical for carrying forward. In the sport of walking for such movements after three warnings you are simply disqualified.

The hero of today's story can not just walk, but it does it faster than everyone else in the world. Meet - Borchin Valery. Athletics of Russia due to its development is due to such amazing personalities. Honored Master of Sports, two-time world champion, Olympic medalist in 2008 (Beijing) in the discipline of "Walking 20 km".

Valery Borchin. Biography

Valery was born on September 11, 1986 in a small village of Povodimovo Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. By nationality - Erzya (an ethnic group living in the area of the rivers Sura, Moksha, Volga and Belaya). What should the boy do where there is only one secondary school, a boarding school and a youth school? The nearest railway station is twenty kilometers. The people of Mordovia, as the sportsman himself said, are famous for their endurance and even, it may be said, stubbornness. Valery Borchin since his childhood dreamed of becoming more independent and not sitting around his parents' neck . But to dream and do is different things. Therefore, some remain in meditation, and others, which are not many at all, become Olympic champions.

The first steps towards success

Since 2004 Valery Borchin (photo of the sportsman in the title of the champion says that this person always achieves his goal) came to the professional level and began his great sports career. The main coach of the athlete was Viktor Mikhailovich Chegin (from 1995 to 2015 was the head coach of Olympic training in the city of Saransk). Also, mentors on the way to medals at Valery were Klimkin SM and Desinov AV In March 2015, the athlete was caught in the reception of ephedrine and removed from the competition for a year.

First achievements

For the first time in 2006, Valery Borchin won the Russian championship in Saransk in a 20 km walking walk with the result of 1 hour 21.48 minutes (in his career he became two times champion of the country in 2008 and 2009 in Adler). In the same 2006, he won silver at the European Championships in Gothenburg (Sweden), improving his personal achievement to 1 hour 20.00 minutes. The following year he won the European Youth Championship, which was held in the Hungarian city of Debrecen.

Olympic Gold

So Valery Borchin made his way to the main start in his career - the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. In his country Valery was at that moment the best walker for 20 km, and he proved it in a difficult environment at the Olympics. Until now, many protests from foreign federations about re-testing the athlete's doping tests were still filed, but everything was clean and there were no refutations. The medal is obtained in a fair fight. Twice Valery Borchin proved his superiority at this distance, winning the world championships in 2009 (Germany) and 2011 (South Korea).

Difficult period

At the Olympic Games in London 2012, the athlete has failed in the body from grueling loads. Valery almost lost consciousness, and only the fence at the distance saved the athlete from falling to the bare asphalt. This was not the last failure in the life of the athlete. Further political intrigues began all over the country. In December 2012, the IAAF submitted information to the All-Russia Athletics Federation at once for five walkers of the Russian national team that they have overestimated biopassport rates.

What it is? Biopasport athlete - this marks the growth of the athlete's indicators, which are already known to the organization for some calculations of some people. That is, there are excluded indicators, which for no apparent reason are simply not provided. Thus, the individuality of the athlete's development is lost. If the athletes train more than normal and in clean air, and even drink natural herbs, then they will have good indicators. But this development of events, unfortunately, is not envisaged in the International Federation. As a result, many athletes of the Russian national team were even deprived of Olympic awards. Valery Borchin lost the deserved gold of the world championships (2009, 2011). As a result, the combined team of Russian athletes was not admitted to the Olympics in Rio 2016. And our athletes were deprived of the right to speak for two years (until the end of 2017). If sport becomes politics, then there is no place for athletes. Coach Valery Borchin - Victor Chyogin - deprived of coaching status for life, and the athlete also finished his career as an athlete on 8/11/2013. The most interesting thing is that the decision on disqualification for 8 years Valery was appointed on January 20, 2015. And on top of all on March 24, 2016 In Lausanne (Switzerland), the Arbitration Court (sports) issued a verdict on the deprivation of all awards for the period 14.08.2009 to 15.10.2012.

Despite all the difficulties and misunderstandings, Valery Borchin is the Olympic champion, the deserved master of sports of Russia. Awarded the President of the Order of Friendship (for his great contribution to the development of international sports and high results in the world arena).
