Vadim Takmenev: biography and his awards

Vadim Takmenev is a well-known journalist who conducts an information and analytical program on NTV called "Central Television", as well as a number of other programs on the same channel. His reports are always distinguished by professional and interesting presentation.

Biographical information

Vadim was born in November 1974 in the city of Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Kemerovo region. Class up to the eighth (according to Takmenev himself), the future journalist dreamed of a surgeon's career, very often attending his aunt's work. It was after such visits that Vadim had a fear of contracting some terrible disease. He constantly washed his hands, worried about the purity of water, fruits and vegetables.

Only closer to the end of school, he began to think about the possibility of going to journalism. Soon he began cooperation with the newspaper "Struggle for Coal". After Vadim graduated from the junkor school, he entered the Kemerovo State University for Journalism. He graduated in 1996.

Takmenev in relationships is constant. With his future wife, Elena, he met while still a student. Vadim Takmenev began his work on television even when he was a student. He worked for Gesel Kuzbass in news programs. In some he was the author, and in some, also the presenter. After graduation, he joined NTV, the Siberian Bureau, where he worked until 1997. Later, he became the chief in the South-Russian Bureau of the same broadcaster, which was in Rostov-on-Don. After a while he was transferred to Moscow. Here Vadim continued to work in the company on the TV programs "Itogi" and "Today".

In the spring of 2001, he moved to TV-6 due to the change of leadership on NTV. He worked as his own correspondent on TVS in Germany.
