Vaccination of DTP and poliomyelitis vaccination - rescue from terrible diseases

One of the first child is vaccinated with DTP. And poliomyelitis, being a terrible disease that in the past carried away thousands of lives, requires mandatory vaccination.

The DTP vaccine protects the child from three serious infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough.

Diphtheria is an acute disease of infectious nature. It is caused by bacteria, accompanied by the appearance of a fibrous film, a common poisoning of the body and numerous complications, among which can be listed infectious-toxic shock, nephrosis, myocarditis, polyneuritis and even blocking the airways. The infection is more than serious.

Tetanus is a serious disease, also infectious in nature. It is transmitted through the wounded skin and mucous membranes. The human nervous system is affected, resulting in convulsions. The disease is extremely difficult and requires urgent hospitalization.

As for whooping cough, it is transmitted by airborne droplets, but is caused by bacteria. This is also an acute infection that causes seizures of a spasmodic cough, accompanied by severe hypoxia, convulsions. In young children whooping cough is extremely difficult and often causes a halt in breathing and, therefore, death. And this terrible disease affects children of all ages, and most often they get sick from year to seven. This is what saves people from the DTP vaccine.

And poliomyelitis is also prevented by vaccination. Viral infection affects the central nervous system, causes lifelong paralysis and even death. The virus of poliomyelitis is transmitted through a mouthful of contaminated water and a piece of food, but can also by sneezing, coughing. Alas, the terrible disease is poliomyelitis, vaccination against which is the only reliable method of prevention.

DTP and poliomyelitis vaccine are precious inventions of medicine that have saved many lives. These vaccines are easily accessible, safe and effective. Contraindications to the DTP vaccine practically does not exist, children transfer it easily, it is possible to inoculate after recovery from acute and mild forms of respiratory diseases. The only thing that prevents vaccination is diseases of the nervous system that progress and do not go away, as well as cases of seizures (at high temperature). If such symptoms are present, DTP vaccination and polio vaccination are done as planned, with DTP performed without the pertussis component (ADP).

It should be noted that children who suffer from chronic diseases of the lungs, kidneys, liver, heart and blood vessels are primarily vaccinated, because they are much more tolerant of diseases from which the vaccine saves.

At the same time, DTP and poliomyelitis vaccine can be vaccinated , vaccinated against hepatitis B and measles, mumps and rubella.

Parents should not be afraid of vaccinations: they are vital, saving the health of kids and adults. And in order to prevent possible negative reactions of the child to the vaccination, it is necessary to take some measures. When the temperature rises (wait only to 37.5, not higher), it is necessary to give an antipyretic agent, to feed the baby at will and not to force food by force, to give more water to the child, to limit contacts and in general to provide the baby with a calm, quiet and pleasant environment. Be sure to ventilate the room more often.
