The widespread spread of such pastes beyond Dagestan was hampered by difficulties in organizing their production on an industrial scale, as well as the lack of technologies allowing long-term storage of such a product that does not involve heat treatment.

In today's shops you can often find jars with the inscription "Traditional Urbets." What is it, it is best to learn from the books of hereditary folk healers from Dagestan, who know all the secrets of using a useful product.

And if in a nutshell, the traditional urbech is a paste made in mountain villages using special stone millstones. These mills, which are often not one hundred years old, rotate very slowly, which allows mixing of oil cake and oil in a homogeneous mass. As a raw material in order to prepare a traditional urbech, whose useful properties are recognized as official medicine, raw flaxseed is used. Such paste is recommended for those who suffer from diabetes, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, immune, cardiovascular diseases, visual impairment, and underweight or overweight.

Types of Urbets

There are many kinds of such useful treats. The most delicious is the almond urbech. What it is? The answer is simple: it is grated in a special way selected raw (not toasted), dried at low temperatures almonds. Urbech in cooking

Some types of this paste are difficult to use in its pure form as an independent product. This is especially true of the apricot kernel variant, which sometimes is bitter. In such cases, it is recommended to cook a sweet dessert from an old recipe from urbach. To do this, 50 grams of the original product should take as much natural honey and 40 grams of melted butter. All the ingredients are put in enameled dishes and heated, vigorously mixing, in a water bath for 2-3 minutes, not bringing to a boil.

Another delicacy is a milkshake, which is better prepared from almond urbech. It will take 2 ripe banana, 2 tbsp. L. Walnut paste, 1 tsp. Honey, several any berries (raspberry, currant, bilberries) and 1.5 tbsp. water. All ingredients must be put in a blender and beat until smooth, and serve better with an ice cube.
