Personal life

Issa Pliev met his future wife, Catherine Chekhov, in company with friends. She was a medical student. Issa immediately realized that this girl - his fate, and began to look after her. In 1962, the army of the district, led by Pliev, participated in the suppression of the revolt of the Novocherkassk workers. Issa Alexandrovich had to give orders for the use of firearms to stop the uprising. This was in the post-war time, and each riot could break only the emerging equilibrium. The order to use fire weapons was given from above. General Issa Pliev could not disobey. And as a result, it became a dark spot in his biography.

Since 1968, Issa Aleksandrovich was in the capacity of military adviser in the group of inspectors of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. The death of the general and the memory of him
