Andrey Chivurin. Biography and life after KVN

Andrey Chivurin is well known to any KVN fan. After the "service" in the rank of captain of the famous KVN team, he became editor of the Major League for a whole seventeen years, but never moved to the Russian capital. This story is about how the senior lieutenant of the Air Force managed to become the leader of the Kharkov team of KVN KhAI and forever to connect his life with humor, while earning the honorary title of "sanitar of humor".

Andrey Chivurin. Biography of a caveman

His life began in Dresden on May 9, 1964. Of course, such a vivid combination of the circumstances of birth could not but be reflected in the form of some worldly victories. Having successfully completed the children's period (secondary school in the city of Uman), in 1981 he decided to become a student of the Kharkov Aviation Institute (KhAI), and at the same time a member of the KVN team. But the first attempt failed. After that, about six months, he was one of the workers of the design bureau of the plant of strategic missile forces of strategic importance (the department of native KhAI).

Army service (aircraft technician) Chivurin Andrei Petrovich began in 1987 in the Belarusian Military District. After serving for two years as a senior lieutenant, he, a year after returning home, became captain of the KVN KhAI team.

At the moment, Chivurin is also a happy grandfather who brings up his beloved granddaughter. And he loves diving and traveling.

KhAI in KVN

Officially it is believed that the team was formed on April 4, 1990. Two years later the guys became full participants of the festival "KiViN-1992" and went straight to the Major League of KVN. After the guys won first place in the quarterfinals, they still had to give up the first place in the semifinals to the team "Yermie", and in the end they did not go any further. However, when they came to the stage to congratulate the champions, "hajevtsy" received a prize with a catchy title "For principledness."

The next time Andrey Chivurin with his team took part in the game already in 1994. This time the team was able to compete in the quarterfinals, where she won first place. But in the final again the leadership was the team "Yermie", and "hajovtsy" took second place.

A year has passed. Again the final. This time, reaching the final, Khai lost 0.1 points to the Hussar Squadron, but the jury decided not to display the received ratings and awarded the teams a draw. And already in 1996 Andrey Chivurin with the team won the summer cup. Participating in the games until 2000, the team won the huge love of the audience, and many jokes, as they say, "went to the people" (which is only the famous "Song of the hooligan" performed by Chivurin). Also Andrew since 1996 was the editor of the Major League of KVN.

"League of Laughter"

Being an active person by nature, Chivurin, together with Naum Baruley (also the editor of KVN), decide to create their own, Ukrainian, a springboard for young and talented humorists. By the recognition of Andrei Petrovich himself, it was thanks to effective contact with the studio "Quarter 95" that several popular sitcoms appeared. But the most notorious project was the "League of Laughter" - in its way an alternative to KVN.

However, it all started with refusals. At first, intelligibly explaining nothing, the channels refused to create a TV version of the Ukrainian KVN. And in order not to lose the potential of young humorous teams in vain, Chivurin and Barul begin cooperation with the studio "Quarter 95", as a result of which the Ukrainian championship of humor with the above-mentioned name is born, which was invented by the "quarters".

However, another name is not all. It was decided to change the format. The bottom line is this: young teams go on stage and try to interest the judges themselves, who, in turn, if the team liked, get up from their seats. If several judges stand, the team decides who will become its coach and will perform with it at the next games. The number of people in the team does not matter (for example, a significant part of the performance of the team "Transparent racer" is the conversation with the viewers voice-over voice, and only then the participant enters the stage, whose text is based on pure improvisation). The language in which the team will perform is also not important - more than half of the teams communicate with the audience in Russian, and even there is one ("Let's rest together"), who managed to make surzhik a visiting card of their numbers ...

This project has been very successful and with the beginning of each new season is gaining an increasing number of participants and fans. And also, except for the main games of the season, there were contests for the Summer and Winter Cups.

TV career

"Enlightened" Andrew Chivurin on television and as a screenwriter. He was the co-author of the script for the famous "Soldiers" (from the fourth to the fourteenth seasons).
