General information

Tractor K-701 is a general-purpose agricultural machine.
The K-701 is equipped with a four-stroke 12-cylinder diesel engine with V-shaped arrangement of cylinders YaMZ-240BM.

Characteristics of the tractor K-701: frame design

Two semi-frames connected by means of a hinge device are a tractor frame. Due to the presence of vertical and horizontal hinges, there is the possibility of relative rotation of the half-frames. The rotation of the frames around the horizontal hinge is limited to 16 degrees, and around the vertical - 35. This achieves high maneuverability and good adhesion of all wheels to the soil, no matter how uneven it is. Both frames are welded.

Engine

The K-701 tractor is equipped with a reliable, durable and very efficient 12-cylinder engine of the YAMZ-240 type. The systems of the motor installation and the diesel engine itself are located on the front half of the tractor with three supports (one front and two rear). Start the engine. The automatic control system for the diesel engine fan YAMZ-240BM is designed to create the best thermal performance for the engine, which is controlled by the presence of a thermostat and a curtain. They are located in front of the radiator.

The engine works are provided by the following systems: air purification system, fuel system and cooling system.

Also on the tractor is installed a preheating system. It provides preparation of the diesel engine for start-up at temperatures below -10 ^о С and maintains a sufficiently high temperature of the cooling system fluid in those cases when the engine does not work. The system provides the presence of a boiler, a burner, a supercharger and pipelines, through which the cooling liquid flows. The heating and cooling system is connected in parallel.

Tractor Transmission

On the tractor K-700, K-701 installed a mechanical transmission, which is a set of mechanisms, which includes the following elements:

• Semi-rigid coupling. This element transfers the torque from the motor to the gearbox, reduces the load on the engine during sudden overloads, reduces the values of the torsional vibration values and drives the hydraulic pumps of the hydraulic steering system and the attachment. Also, if necessary, it allows you to perform engine shutdown from the transmission.
• Transmission. Tractor K-701 (photo is presented) is equipped with a mechanical, multistage gearbox that has gears of constant engagement. Control by means of hydraulics. The presence of clutches allows you to perform gear changes with a continuous flow of power within the regime. A box is mounted on shock absorbers.
• Bridges. Both bridges are leading, but the rear axle can be turned off. Their fastening is carried out on half-frames. Bridges are interchangeable. The parking brake is located on the front axle.
• Cardan transmission. Serves to create a full tractor drive.

Wheels diskless type, with low pressure tires and treads, providing good tractor performance. Diameters of all wheels are equal to each other.

Control systems

The steering is controlled by hydraulics, which includes two hydraulic cylinders and a hydraulic distributor. When the liquid is fed into the hydraulic cylinders, they move the semi-frames relative to each other.

The steering system includes the following components: hydraulic distributor with worm gear, pump, steering column, flow controller, hydraulic cylinders, follower, hydraulic tank, radiator and hydraulic drives.

The working brakes of the tractor are brakes of the shoe type. The brake consists of a drum, a support and brake pads. The drum is fixed to the final drive hub, the caliper is located on the half-axle housing.

The tractor brakes are pneumatically operated from the pedal located in the cab.
The parking brake is located on the front axle, of the disk-type type. Its main purpose is to hold the tractor when it is parked under a slope of up to 20 degrees.

Cabin description

K-701 wheeled tractor has a double cabin with a good heating and ventilation system, which provides comfortable and comfortable working conditions for the driver. On the frame there is a welded pedestal, to which is attached a two-seater cabin with two doors. The cabin is sealed all-metal. Favorable climate inside is facilitated by ventilation, heating and thermal insulation systems. Comfort driver is provided by the presence of a sprung chair, which includes a hydraulic shock absorber of double action. The stiffness of the seat spring can be adjusted. Adjustment takes into account the weight of the driver. Also inside the cabin there is an additional chair.

Thanks to the separate-aggregate system and the three-point device, it is possible to combine the tractor with various agricultural implements.
The system includes a hydraulic control system for an attached device and actuating mechanisms of agricultural machines.
The gear pump, the hydraulic tank, the hydraulic distributor, the locking devices, the hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic lines constitute the hydraulic control system of the mounted device.

Illumination of the outer space is carried out with the help of headlights and lanterns, located in front and the delivery of the cabin, as well as on the wings.

Optional equipment

This equipment allows expanding the scope of the agricultural machine. Thanks to him it becomes possible to maintain a certain type of work. The installation of equipment on the tractor K-701 also contributes to an increase in the use of the tractor and economic efficiency.
