Principle of operation

Usually, two chambers are built - furnace and for afterburning. Combustion products, by tradition, are discharged outside through a special chimney, during which heat is transferred to the walls. It is very important to correctly calculate the parameters of the output channel. The fact is that a short chimney will not allow you to fully accumulate the heat that the furnace generates. Too long a pipe, on the contrary, will give off heat, but a long delay in a tight space will lead to excessive smoking. For this reason, tile stoves are usually supplied with additional branch pipes in the tamper. Provided that the walls are correctly constructed, the stoves will accumulate heat, radiating it throughout the room. It should be noted that in this case, especially the area of the construction increases - the larger it is, the more efficient the heating of the room will be.

Technology of making tiles

Most often, the masters use casting technology, which produces an easy and at the same time sturdy tile with optimal heat output. By the way, the mass of one element is not more than 400 g. The composition for the material may be different, but in most cases it is based on white kaolin clay. The output is a tiled stove that does not collect soot and is easy to clean. However, before the moment of direct laying, you can perform the decoration of the tiles. Usually the material is covered with glaze and subjected to roasting under high temperature. Then follows the cooling and final preparation of the material in the tunnel kiln.

Despite the usual size - 15 x 15 cm - and the characteristics reminiscent of conventional ceramic tiles, tiles require a special approach in the laying process. To the material does not absorb the moisture of the solution, it must first be immersed in water. Laying in the first stage is carried out in parallel with brick laying. Installation is carried out in rows - from the angle in the direction from the bottom to the top. In some cases, tiles for tiles are laid with the formation of a seam dressing. Usually this is done in a complex design. In the process of laying, the dimensions of the joints must also be observed. The horizontal clearances should not exceed 3 mm in thickness and 10 mm in vertical gaps.

There is a tile technology and one significant minus. Its implementation is more expensive and troublesome than in the case of conventional designs. And to get a quality result without the use of master skills is almost impossible. In particular, the tile stove requires a complex and delicate treatment of clay composition for tiles, not to mention artwork. The design of the design itself is not so problematic, but also without the mason's participation at this stage is indispensable. As can be seen, the subtleties of the use of tile technology require a special approach, but the result with a qualitative performance will justify itself.
