The concept of "subject of research" is found in the scientific community. It is inextricably linked with another concept - the "object of research". The subject of research is also the possible influence of the collective unconscious on the development of society. For example, in our country, in view of the frequent social cataclysms in the subconscious, the notion of the need to have a strategic supply of products lives. Marketing research is a specific sociological study of consumer preferences and requests. They are necessary in order to effectively regulate the market of goods and labor. The subject of marketing research is the goods, services, the reputation of organizations. Enterprises are interested in studying consumer demand for production planning, this is important for determining price policy.

In the modern economy, marketing research has turned into a prosperous sphere. This market was divided among themselves by various sociological funds, institutions for studying public opinion, faculties of famous universities. Many large brands, enterprises and firms order the study of consumer preferences for planning their activities. For them, the subject of research is the ability to promote meaningful goods or services for them, as well as "processing" public opinion in order to convince people that a certain product is simply vital to them. An example is the corporation Apple. But, it turns out, with all the ostentatious independence of these surveys and research, data fraud and theft of information are still quite often. In a word, competition is in action.
